Green lantern playing a guitar B-) the plot thickens
No it is Conan.
Khal Drogo
Does anybody else think Prometheus' voice sounds like Michael Dorn? I can't find any information on who does the voice, but it wouldn't be the first time the Arrowverse used one actor's voice to cover up another. Tony Todd was Zoom's voice on Flash last year, after all.
Re Arrow Prometheus
Tommy I guess just got lucky.
Isn't Prometheus some guy with a grudge against Arrow for Arrow's pursuit of the List in season 1.
If so how pray tell, does Merlin qualify? His dad is to blame for all the stuff that went down in S1.
What would he have against Oliver?
I am really enjoying Gotham Season 2.
Its both dark and savage, but tempered by a high camp touch.
Penguin Joker and Riddler are all homicidal loons
They are as over the top as their Batman 66, tv counterparts, but in a darker more violent world.
These villains bring a camp horror touch as well.
The young bat is developing nicely
This Gotham is really going to need the Bat.
Gordon is over matched. The villains are out of control, but its fun to watch Gordon and Bullock soldier on, nevertheless. Tough cops these two, and not afraid to cross lines, as they pretty much have to, considering the ongoing depravity they face each week.
Nice touch from the show how they make Penguin a sympathetic character.
He can cross the lines that Gordon and Bullock can't cross, when battling the other villains.
We root for Gordon and Bullock and for Penguin too, when a real nasty response is needed.
Penguins uprising against his father's adopted family was epic. Would have made Hannibal Lector flinch. Creepy.
What made me think it was...
Alchemy reveal was not surprising at all, though with the big bad appearing it opened up another mystery.
Major Spoiler I know you are catching up
I am following Arrow S5 via YouTube spoiler-review videos.
One of the guys confirmed Dorn, btw.
I could not do that, I would have to watch the shows without spoilers :)
On the Arrow midseason finale:
After his significant amount more dialogue last night, if Prometheus isn't voiced by Michael Dorn, I'd be amazed.
Yes I have. And I rather like it.
So essentially he "killed" Bruce Wayne to become Batman? I can get behind that motive, as it's been a classic one for Batman; ie. Bruce is the mask I wear.
Almost literally. In this re-envisioning of the origin, a young Wayne used his father's razor on his own wrists. The reasoning behind donning the cape and cowl wasn't so much heroic and trying to be a symbol for people as it was self destructive with a view to doing SOME sort of good before he went out in a bad way.
Although it hasn’t been completely confirmed by Warner Bros., it sounds like The Batman will take Justice League: Part Two‘s June 14, 2019 release date. That’s an appropriate date for the Dark Knight as Batman celebrates his 80th anniversary in 2019. The character debuted in Detective Comics #27, which hit stands in May of 1939.

Had to take this quote of mine from the previous page. I knew this was going to happen.
Some thing's definitely happening over at WB. There isn't going to be a GLC and what about Shazam that had The Rock attached to star as Black Adam from about 4 years ago or when ever it was...and Snyder's been uncharacteristically quiet about JL's production and I'm thinking as they were too far gone with preproduction for this film they're essentially riding it out and may use the interim after this film to find a new director for JL2.
WB don't have a plan whatsoever.
Hard to argue with the top two choices
Although, I didn't "shed a tear" for Freeze in the Gotham episodes.
He was a homicidal loon. I was hoping Gordon would put him down, but we know that can't happen.
thank you for posting that clip, I was 18 when The Animated Series started, the first thing I always did when returning from the army for a short weekend was rewinding and pushing play on the tape recorder that recorded every Saturday morning's Batman episode.
I was SO SO HAPPY when it got released on the wonderful four DVD Boxes.
I really should start to re-watch it all again.
Midway through the last season I like to rewatch them every few years, for years only had access to the first two seasons. The digital age changed all that, only watched the later seasons for the first time a few years ago. Roughly same age I had them recorded on vhs back in the day.
Heart of Ice my all time favouraite episode, Paul Dini at his very best.
I wasn't actually critiquing the Gotham depiction. Rather comparing with the Batman animated-series clip narrator "shedding a tear" for Freeze.
I liked the Gotham depiction, but I certainly wasn't
shedding any tears for him.
And Supergirl as Batgirl!
