That article reads like an April fools joke, but it´s a week late for that, which makes the story highly psychedelic.

In any case, there's no way this film can not make a profit. As long as it can gross over$450 million it'll be fine. However, it has a really compromising release date.

Hopefully its good and word of mouth balloons it higher. It's not helped by being the fourth in a line of largely disappointing films.

From what I can gather of what the movie is about and the visuals/spectacle I just can't see this falling into the negative zone. I'm really hoping this film is good. The genre needs it. I just wish it had a better release date.

Tracking often gets it wrong plus the film is two months away, I do hope Wonder Woman is successful. Though success is relative I would be surprised if it opened near $100 million domestic, its not likely to get near BvS numbers. If its close to grossing MoS numbers surely that would be what's expected?

i dont care about, these movies butt from a marketing pesperective its fascinating. JL with no superman? sorry but i just do not care. its a trainwreck in slo-motion

The DCEU only exists to show Superman being evil, or being perceived as such. It's what gets Snyder off.

I'm not reading the article to avoid spoilers for the film, but I am quite familiar with the Injustice story arc the films could be trying to adapt. A story where, for very little logical reason, Superman is an authoritarian asshole.

No. Still haven't watched either BVS or Suicide Squad. Man of steel was ok. Will check Wonder Woman out though because of Gal Gadot.

I had the strangest dream last night, after falling asleep from drinking a wide variety of alcohol, and eating a block of cheese: it was the new Batman movie, only it was George Clooney now and he just talked like himself and was all 'hi I'm Batman.' And his dark Gotham City had turned into a giant rave for some reason, and he kept showing us his butt every chance he got. It was really weird.

The 90's were a funny time for superhero movies, that's for sure.
