That was pretty amusing!

Fantastic news, and well deserved.
Quite funny, as Gal was almost cast as Camille in QoS.
Bond will do just fine like he always has done.
Absolutely. I look forward to seeing how the marketing is impacted by this being Dan's last, and how much that is referenced in teasers and trailers as well. Maybe that'll have a positive impact of BO intake in a major way.
I completely agree, I mentioned a few pages ago that I firmly believe that this being DC's final Bond movie that this will play heavily in how they advertise it?
I would imagine. Hell, I'd love if the closing credits of the movie had "You Know My Name" play over them. That would really be a beautiful touch.
Absolutely! Also maybe a little note from the producers about Sir Roger Moore before the Gun Barrel sequence would not go amiss either? Especially as he was such an ambassador to the Bond franchise, and more so to Cubby and his family.
I wouldn't be surprised if he got a dedication, as Dan loved him and may request it.
Probably at the end of the film.
"Dedicated to Sir Roger Moore"
Exactly, with the words, "Nobody did it better" below it.
Agreed. He is a much better actor now than he was then, too. He has gotten better with age.
At least this fan trailer looks good
Still, it does go to show that Clooney could have been a GREAT Batman, under probably any different director
I'm sure that Schumacher's Batman Triumphant would have made for an even more ironic title for a superhero film than Sony's choice to call their last batch The Amazing Spider-Man. You're just setting yourself up for snarky reviews using your titles against you at that point.
To be fair, at least there is a comic called The Amazing Spider-Man. I don't believe there is a comic called Batman Triumphant. And most actually like the first Amazing Spider-Man. It's the second that wasn't great.
I don't think there is a Batman comic with that name, no, but I don't see the relevance as it's still about the title being an ironic one. This isn't a Spider-Man thread so I won't go into the Garfield films, but while the first is vastly superior to the second (it couldn't be anything else), it has so many hilariously bad issues when it comes to character and story that it's at times hard to watch. When Peter can't even act like Peter, you know you have a problem in execution that is visible in other areas.
