Here's a better first review. Unless you're unfamiliar with the story of Superman there shouldn't be any spoilers here. If, however you just arrived recently by a space pod, then you might find a few passages a bit too informative...

Oh Bill Nye, you needn't introduce yourself. We know who you are.

    Here's the tenth TV spot:

Met Bill Nye a few years ago, great guy. Always made science videos in classes fun. But I wonder since WB is producing these videos that we'll see him shaving in MOS? I do like the heat vision mirror theory as demonstrated in Superman TAS.

That new TV spot is excellent. I've never been a huge Superman fan, but this gets me really interested in seeing it. I doubt I'll check it out opening day, but I'll get to it at some point in theaters.

I saw the new trailer at the cinema and it did look cool but I'm still not 100% sold on this.

I thought Sucker Punch was awful and it's hard for me to be excited by another reboot, especially since I haven't seen the others and the character doesn't really interest me anyway.

I have no idea who he is :-/

@thelivingroyale, I thought 'Sucker Punch' was entertaining. Granted, complaints swirled of how the film objectified women and terrible reviews followed its release, but I still enjoyed it.

As for Nye, I'm an American and we watched his science show videos all the time in elementary school. Perhaps it's my age or location that made him unknown to you. They were always entertaining.

Is objectifying women still really considered a legitimate complaint?

Apparently so. It was the big topic of discussion when the film was released. You can't do anything anymore without offending someone.

I hated Sucker Punch because I thought it was a CGI filled mess that was surprisingly dull and that had nothing going for it apart from some fit girls.

I'm 30 and I grew up in England so that'll be why.

@thelivingroyale, I agree on it being CGI-ridden, and the girls were attractive, but a good portion of the action sequences were entertaining to me.

@Dalton12, that's interesting. Out of the four or five who said you should go in with incredibly lowered expectations, I wonder how many total viewed the film.

I am hoping it does well at the box office as it's my only shot at getting Batman on film before 2020.

Wow. Is it really going to be as great as they're making it out to be? I'm looking forward to it.

The reaction will always be positive, so I think in two weeks we'll see just how good it is but I think it's safe to say this will be one of the better films of year, as long as it isn't a CGI overload.

It already looks pretty CGI heavy, so time will tell. I just find it interesting that the majority of all of the reviews coming out of the gate, pre-embargo, are all overly positive. Though, @Samuel001, I suppose you're right that this is pretty typical.

The last Pirates of the Caribbean had the same reaction and look at that! Not for one moment though do I think or am suggesting Man Of Steel will be anywhere as bad as that.

Oh, that's impossible. Might 'Man of Steel' be bad? Sure. But there's absolutely no way it's as horrid as the last 'Pirates' installment.

Henry Cavill's hairline annoys me, not so much when he's Clark Kent but especially when he's pretending to be Superman.

Thank Allah he didn't get picked to do CR.

What a thought provoking and analytical criticism. What's next? Amy Adams's nails are too long? :))

I'm not a big Superhero nerd and can take or leave these movies. Avengers and stuff like that does nothing for me.

I'm merely saying his hair looks bad. This isn't fanboy whining. To my eyes his hair looks wrong, it looks way to greasy and secondly it's clear Cavill is receding and the production have given him a very odd parting to attempt to hide it. It looks like Dalton in the casino in LTK.

Aside from that MoS looks amazing, very arthouse for a superhero flick.

He can wear wigs in Sequels, if needed :)

@RogueAgent, I haven't been able to find anything pertaining to an after credits scene for the movie, though I wouldn't be surprised if there is one.
