I have that film on DVD somewhere. Very good film and it may contain Roger Moore's best acting performance too. There's even a James Bond reference to watch out for:

The Persuaders had a Bond moment too - I remember there being a briefcase with all the Fleming novels in it in one episode - think Peter Hunt might have directed that episode as well.

Correct!
Yes, I've heard about that though not seen much of The Persuaders. That reminds that I actually bought the series on DVD but haven't watched it yet. The last time I would have seen any of it was when I think Channel 4 showed them again in the 1990s. And Peter Hunt was of course a great Fleming man - as evidenced by OHMSS.

I actually enjoy this movie more than most of the folks here. The Burt Bacharach score and the lovely presence of Joanna Pettet, Ursula Andress, Jacqueline Bisset and Barbara Bouchet make this watchable for me.
Maybe I'll pair this with a viewing of "What's New Pussycat" (1965) for a double dose of Charles Feldman's bonkers / hot mess.
The amount of significant cuts is painful (the film started pre-watershed at 8pm).

5:30 EST AM The Man Who Would Be King (1975)
If the listing seems a little “thin”, remember that TCM specializes in movies primarily from the 1930’s to 1950’s (plus a small group of 1960’s/1970’s classics).
I recorded The Hill off the same channel 4-5 years ago, first time I'd seen it in years and recalled how powerful it was, and earlier this year I also saw Hell Drivers on TCM for the first time.
