There are no polar bears in Antarctica. Just like there are no penguins in the Arctic.
Wow, I've seen that one many times of the years and never realized he's in it. I love that movie, as cheesy as it can be.
RIP Mr. Moffat, let me add.
Me, too. Moffat was the head of the law firm Harrison Ford works for.

A great excerpt from the article:
'Mr. Fleming, I consider you’re a cad.’
“And he looked at me and said, ‘Mrs. Leiter, you’re indeed right. Shall we have a drink on it?’"
One of the home video documentaries -- I think the Ian Fleming biography one -- interviewed her telling that anecdote.
EDIT: The specific documentary is simple titled "Ian Fleming" and it's with the home video release of The Living Daylights. In it, she tells the anecdote that "Jack Kennedy rang me up" when he was sick and asked if she had anything to read. She sent over From Russia With Love.
Penguins, man.
Sad news. He would have made a good Foreign Secretary given the chance.
Lord Ashdown was largely brought up in Northern Ireland and this was where the 'Paddy' nickname derived from. He later served with the Royal Marines in Belfast.

Sad news, although I haven't watched it in years due to early rising for work necessitating going to bed earlier.
It was good for first news and exclusive clips and interviews on the latest Bond films but I suppose these are changing times. Apparently the BBC are replacing it with something else, though.
Not sure how many people even know who this is, but it seems Robert Kerman of Cannibal Holocaust passed away.
Sort of a weird coincidence because I literally just watched that movie last week.
The interesting thing about him was that he was originally a pornograghic actor, and Cannibal Holocaust was supposed to be his ‘big break into serious acting’. When it wasn’t, he went back to porn :))
Sad to hear that. Used to watch it when Barry Norman helmed and when Jonathan Ross took over (he did a memorable location feature on CR!)
But it was a disaster when Claudia Winkleman presented it, awful navel gazing stuff. They should have got Mark Kermode, but apparently he didn't want it!
RIP Dame June Whitfield such a great comedy actress and currently playing Miss Marple on bbc radio 4
RIP June Whitfield
Also sad about June Whitfield. Very charming and like able actress, even when playing comic stuck-up characters.
R. I. P. "Mean" Gene Okerlund sad loss, he was a legend for my generation.

Seconded, he was brilliant. RIP.
"Love Will Keep Us Together" is one of those songs for which I have a special spot in my heart due to the fact that they were hits that played on the radio (AM!) all the time when I was an exchange student in Illinois in 1974/75. RIP, Captain.
Good tribute... I never knew about the multiple Kidney transplants.
