Not the best year for me.
I’m so sorry. That’s terrible. My condolences to you and your family.
You should get a similar dog and a similar cat.
I'm so sorry to hear that. Just think of your 4 legged friends waiting for you on Rainbow Bridge .
My thoughts go to you and your family.

Sad news I only watched a film with him in a few days ago Robocop 3, my earliest memory of RipTorn was in The Man from U. N. C. L. E. . One of my favourite roles of his was from Dodgeball “Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge.” R. I. P.
"We're not hosting an intergalactic kegger down here."
RIP
30 Rock -Rip Torn.
Great actor in some Hammer horrors: FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED, SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA. Was in THE MAN WHO HAUNTED HIMSELF, THE ELEPHANT MAN , lots of television. Excellent actor.
Freddie Jones was in Clint Eastwood's Firefox as well as loads of other stuff. He was acting up till 2018 (in tv's Emmerdale) when he was 90. Quite an achievement! I didn't know actor Toby Jones was his son.
Very sad to hear of the passing of the great João Gilberto too. Bossa nova has always been one of my favourite music genres and Gilberto, together with Antonio Carlos Jobim, was definitely one of the greats.
RIP Freddie Jones as well, contributed to many decent films with The Man Who Haunted Himself being my favourite of them.
Rip Denise Nickerson, Violet Beauregarde in the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. "Violet you're turning violet, Violet!"
With Torn’s death, among the major cast, I think only Tony Bill is still alive. Elizabeth Hartman, Karen Black, Julie Harris, Geraldine Page and Peter Kastner having all died some years ago.
The magic of a name.
He had a brief but important roles in one of my favourite thrillers, 'Juggernaut'
