Thanks!
TCM always does an A+ job with these. And it's nice to see the wide variety of actors shown. From Bond, to Kaiju, to world class directors - they touched on them all.
A blessed relief i should imagine after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Great player at my beloved West Ham and every club he played for. Instrumental in England's only World Cup success.
R.I.P
Tragic. I really liked the fellow.

And to think that this afternoon, I listened to that track on YouTube :
But one of my favourite songs of his is this one :
Sue Lyon of “Lolita” fame has died.

Unforgettable role. RIP Sue.
Great performance in an underrated Kubrick film. Also excellent in Tony Rome.
She also played in Clockwork Terror, a little known pirate sequel to A Clockwork Orange. Sad news. But she is immortal as Lolita.

This Python fan is in mourning, and is sure not to be the only one.
Yes, sad news. I knew him as a kid in the late 1980s from watching The Raggy Dolls, which he sang the theme tune for and also narrated:
When I saw Innes’s name trending on twitter this morning, I knew that it probably was bad news. It was certainly unexpected.
Here in the US, I first knew of Innes primary through his work in the Beatles parody band “The Rutles” (and a DVD viewing of this in his honor is surely scheduled for tonight), which was highlighted on the TV program “Saturday Night Live”. Later, as I started to watch movies like “The Life of Brian” and began to familiarize myself with the work of Monty Python, I discovered more of his work dating back to his Bonzo Dog Band days.

I once found his signed autobiography going cheap in a charity shop. Of course I snapped it up. Here you can see his comic side coming through:
I knew him mostly for his work on “Get Smart”, “The Graduate”, and his 1970s appearances on “Saturday Night Live.” He gave us – and me – many laughs throughout the years, and he will be missed.
