Yes, I think you may have mentioned that before but I'd forgotten about it. I'll keep it in mind the next time I want to check a quote and I'm separated from my Bond book collection! Admittedly, I have searched Project Gutenberg for other things in the past however such as obscure or hard to obtain books.

Aww, that's sad news. Loved him in The Champions when I was a kid after seeing the show repeated on BBC 2 in the mid-1990s. I used to be obsessed with that show along with James Bond and Columbo. I pretty much still am to be honest. I bought the show on DVD some years ago.
Good call on him being suitable for the role of Felix Leiter. Never thought of that before but I could see it working actually, especially if he was given more of an action-oriented role than some of the other actors who played Leiter. Only William Gaunt left out of the trio now; the stunningly beautiful Alexandra Bastedo having died in 2014.
If you ever see that SAINT episode, "The Ex King of Diamonds" you'll see what I mean. His chemistry with Sir Roger was brilliant. It's a great comedic episode.
I should have that one on DVD as I have the Colour Episodes boxset of The Saint (as well as most of the B/W ones). I'll certainly check that episode out ASAP. I wasn't aware that he'd guest starred on The Saint but it makes sense as both it and The Champions were ITC shows and they often shared stars around.

Gutted to hear about Richard Donner. I guess I'll be popping in some LETHAL WEAPON tonight.
RIP Richard Donner
We have truly underrated Richard Donner as a director in the movie-going public. He takes risks, tries new genres, learns from his career and mistakes. He’s got classics in action, epic, comedy, and horror. How many other people can say that? Had he not been fired from Superman, he could have helped him and his world go further than where he is now. Enough with Lex Luthor, General Zod and made up villains WB!
Meanwhile, we over praised James Cameron. Other than special effects, what has he honestly pushed forward? He rips off more in his writing than Quentin Tarantino, and no where more creative when he does. He’s mean and self centered. Talks a lot, and never amounts to anything. Had Titanic or Avatar bombed, he would be the modern day Michael Cimino. Richard Donner is always worth your time, James Cameron isn’t.
Goonies. Lethal Weapon etc.. He left his mark on so many films. Mr Donner you will be sadly missed.
