The last time I watched Eastenders, was back when Dirty Den returned from the dead!
Thats certainly a good life, I stopped watching when Nick Cotton was still on Eastenders a long time ago.
R. I. P. June
Although I stopped watching EastEnders back in 2000 Dot Cotton was an iconic character and June Brown was a legend. I once saw a documentary about her life and she was a good woman who didn't always have the easiest life. I'm saddened to hear of her death.

He was funny.
I swear, the Norm MacDonald Live podcast is insanely cursed in hindsight, with lots of guests on there (and Norm, the legend, himself) passing away in the last several years. Terrible.

National Hockey League Hall of Famer, Mike Bossy has passed away at the age of 65. One of the greatest goal scorers of all time, Bossy was an integral part of the NY Islanders’ dynasty of the early 1980s. To put his career into perspective, he averaged 57 goals per season before his career was cut short by a back injury.
The only person apart from the main 4 to appear in every season.

They brought so much character, out of relatively small parts.
Also RIP to Pepper Martin, who had a small, but memorable role in Superman II.
Tom Seaver is my all-time favorite pitcher. But a lot of my appreciation - don't hate on me - was for when he was traded to Cincinnati, the team I root for and close to me. Very sad we lost him to Alzheimer's.
In case you missed it, here are a couple of photos from Friday’s statue reveal at CitiField.

Now about that statue of Connery and Moore that should grace the entrance to Pinewood studios….. :-?

That's very sad, especially for the Habs fan that I am.
Anecdote: my mum got introduced to Guy Lafleur by my grandfather when Lagleur was playing for the Remparts of Quebec City. Before he even was a star. She told me he seemed like a very shy guy.

That's an awesome connection to have! Must've been great to meet him.

To tell you the truth, I thought he had died a long time ago. As a tribute :
