R. I. P. Sylvia Syms 89.
She was wonderful in Ice Cold In Alex.
RIP
Ice Cold In Alex was on tv only recently. Also, she had a crucial role in Victim (1961).
And she popped up in Doctor Who: Ghostlight.
Surprised she wasn’t considered for a Bond

Sad news, a good character actress. Great mom actress.
That is sad, the Genius character was hilarious back in the 80's in the WWF when he started doing his cart wheels and poems. R.I.P. Lanny.

Along with The Beatles, his songs were a major part of my childhood. And while 94 years is a good run, this really hurts.
RIP
The first of his songs I thought of was Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head, but then, I have the CD of his soundtrack for Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid. Then there is of course Say A Little Prayer, which I first heard from Aretha Franklin and only later from Dionne Warwick. The Carpenters' They Long To Be Close To You, What's New Pussycat? from the eponymous movie, and... and... and...
RIP, Burt Bacharach. You made our lives more enjoyable.
Love Burt Bacharachs music, and so many wonderful songs!

Austin Powers What the World Needs Now
Casino Royale The Look of Love
What a legend, Burt Bacharach's music helped define an era and beyond a totally unmistakable sound.
R.I.P.
The Austin Powers films made great homage to Burt...
Burt Bacharach & Elvis Costello I'll Never Fall In Love Again
It’s nice that at one point he was involved in a Bond film. Even though it was a non-EON 007 film, CR67 had a fantastic score.
Thank you for the music.
Rest in Peace and the thanks for all the music, Burt...
Thank you for making us smile so often Burt.
RIP
