Tomorrow (19th April) would have been my late granddad's 94th birthday. Strange to think its been over seven months since his passing and a year since we were at his house having a low key celebration for his 93rd

In France, two icons of the 60s and 70s have ided recently. The first one was TV and radio host Anne-Marie Peysson :

With release of the last Hobbit on BD/DVD, the lord of the rings franchise comes to end and sadly enough also death of the cinematopgrapher of those movies.

Andrew Lesnie dies yesterday 27 April 2015 on the age 59. He was dop of 5 Peter Jackson movies, he also work on King Kong 2005 and The Lovely Bones. Examples of none Peter Jackson movies he work on are I am Legend, Babe and Babe 2, Happy Feet and Mad Max 2.

His last movie he work on The Water Diviner with and directed by Russel Crowe. Dutch release date of this movie was on 16 April.
