Vaughn was one of my favourite TV actors, very sad.
I will watch both his Columbo episodes this weekend and post about it in the Columbo thread.

    RIP Mr. Vaughn.

Mr Vaughan was great in those two 1970s Columbo episodes, 'Troubled Waters' and 'Last Salute to the Commodore'. I watched both of them not too long ago in fact.

Robert Vaughan was long one of my favourite actors. RIP, sir.

Vaughn had some great lines in BULLITT as well as SUPERMAN III:
"I ask you to kill Superman, and you're telling me you couldn't even do that one, simple thing."
    RIP

I don't know Leonard Cohen, only by name and it seems some of his melodies.

But as I am a huge fan of Tony Christie, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Josh Groban, Johnny Cash etc. I wonder if I would like Cohen's body of work too...

As if the year couldn't be crappy enough as it is. Goodbye, Mr. Cohen. And goodbye, Napoleon. Now, we'll never have the pleasure of seeing you guest-starring in NCIS.

All deaths are crappy, but every year has more births, and the potential is endless.

Thunderfinger, I wasn't just talking about the deaths. There's so much bad in this world that one fears bringing children into the world, as Bob Dylan once sang. What kind of world are we leaving them ?

    RIP Robert Vaughn.
Just read this on MI6 and just had to comment straight away. The man oozed charisma and will always be Napoleon Solo in my eyes. ^:)^

They even blaged the flower truck V helicopter battle from FRWL in that title sequence .

I always check out those titles when I need a great example of editing. If you look at the amount of information that comes across in just 30 seconds (plus, of course great music and RV looking super cool), it really is of cinamatic quality IMHO.
