Its more important for me to see SF properly the first time than attend the premiere - are the seats the general public likely to be offered really that bad?
Obviously they will be high up and at the side but how big is the screen? I've never been inside the Albert Hall but from watching on telly I would think youd need close to an Imax size screen to give people at the back a good view.
Did anyone go to the DAD premiere there? Was it unwatchable (excuse the pun - I already know DAD is unwatchable!)
The Premiere is all about the event and the experience rather than the actual film, so you have to ask yourself what is important the 1st time you see it.
If its to get blown away by the quality of the film then book the earliest availalable IMAX tickets center screen.
Did you get any autographs/photos?
Be there early, Be first row always and defend that, once they bring up the barricades. Use your ellbows, if necessary. After that, its all luck. They may or may not sign, where you stand. Could be, you just see the backs. If you ask me - its still fun and worth it. I only attended Leicester Square, but it sure is an event in itsself and cool people to meet with.
Don't be at the beginning of the venue - middle or end.
No confirmed date yet, as far as I know.
I agree - rude never does the trick.
Fans in the UK can start booking their tickets for #SKYFALL at the box office from tomorrow!
EDIT: oops, wrong thread. Close enough, though.
Hell yes!!! Must sort this out ASAP! <:-P
Very jealous! But fairplay to you. Really wish i could get down there for it! But sadly my job is in the way of doing it.

A handful of tickets to the premiere of Skyfall, the new James Bond movie, will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, 26 September. The premiere takes place at the Royal Albert Hall on 23 October, and tickets will set you back between £50 and £75 (getting Moneypenny to wire you the money probably won’t work).
Alongside watching the film before anybody else, you’ll also get to eye up a bevy of royalty both literal and celluloid at the premiere, including Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench and Prince Charles.
Buy the tickets from the Royal Albert Hall’s website, or call 020 7589 8212.
That's what you call a very decent second best... ;)
These tickets will be on the Circle level only and will be priced from £50-£75, plus booking fee.
Demand is likely to be very high for a very limited number of tickets.
