Well looks like everyone did their job this summer, other than the overpaid sacks of shit that call themselves England.

Here we go folks - after leading 7-6, 7-5 the old Scottish bottling gene is starting to kick in and Djokovic took the last set 6-2 and is 3-1 in the 4th set.

Taxi for Sean and Fergie - they wont be hanging around to shake his hand after he loses.

Ahhh, it's nice to be proven wrong sometimes, isn't it? :)>-

Connery's reaction to Murray's final win, courtesy of BBC:

"I always felt he had everything and now it's really come to fruition. I met him for the first time a couple of days ago. It's great for Scotland. We've had a really great landslide victory. And stop saying he's British, he's Scottish. I have to go now because the champion is waiting."

Only Connery would say something like that. At least he's proud he's Scottish...

    Gutting.

I'm just surprised Alex Salmond, Susan Boyle and that bloke who plays Rab C Nesbitt havent poked their snouts in yet.

Nice to see Sean is so proud to be Scottish he hasnt paid tax in this country for about 40 years.

Still; fair play to Murray, there was an interview on the radio today where he said that the stuff about him being anti-English was just paper bullshit from the tabloid rags and when he said it it was just good natured banter. I'm prepared to cut him a bit of slack especially now hes a British champion rather than a jock loser!

And as someone said above - at least he showed more bottle than that fat chav Rooney and the rest of them to keep the summer of sport ticking over.

That said Scotland 2 points from 2 home games against crap teams. I wouldnt bother investing in some factor 1000 sun cream for your trip to Brazil.

I dont see much in the way of these health problems that supposedly will prevent him from attending the anniversary though. At least just be honest and say you hate the Broccolis and cant be arsed to overlook some gripe you had with their long dead father to come for the fans sake.
