Hello. Few of you have probably seen snippets of Artwork sprinkled through this Board and thanks to the suggestion of @Master_Dahark I've decided to make my own thread.

I'm going to start with Artwork of my own Bruce Murdock thriller series.

^This depicts Bruce Murdock and Rylus Carlyle, his soon to be best friend.

As you can see, my style for the Artwork is heavily inspired by the Special Edition/VHS artwork of the James Bond films. My series is heavily inspired by Action movies of the 1970's and 80's. It also is influenced by the James Bond movies and Hitman videogames for the Noir feel.

Leave your comments, Critiques or Ideas. I'm just happy to show off my artwork. :)

    Damn that video looks like it was fun to make! I should have done more of that before all the woods behind my house were torn down

    Thank you. It was indeed very fun to make. My original concept was for it to be made in a parking Garage, but I wasn't allowed to film in the one at my dad's work, and I happened to have found this little spot in the park by my campus and it had the same design I drew in my storyboards and BOOM! grabbed my best friend, brought my Prop guns, filmed it in about an hour, and edited it in two and done. :D

    Yeah, I filmed this video at my college. Those people..well sadly they got into the shot so I had to do my best and hide them with explosions. haha. I'm working on a script for it and I plan to make it into a feature length film.

    Those weapons you got there are real models or toys? They seem to be very real.

    The PPK is an airsoft gun, and the grenade launcher is a prop I made from a golfball caddy tube for the barrel, and a cheap plastic Nerf gun handle for the frame. and the P99 was photoshopped in. :D All the other guns are Airsoft.

    Oh yeah, I love building props out of everyday parts. I made a shrink ray prop out of junk.

    Well I've done a heavy update of my Bruce Murdock series. Lots of retconning and editing of story elements and have solidified the series to 5 stories instead of seven like I originally had. "Spacelurker" has been removed altogether for being too similar to Moonraker and Death in Shanghai and Blind Fury have been merged together to create Eye For An Eye. And Included are new poster sets for this year. :)

    Bruce Murdock: Agents of Illusion.

    Seattle 2023 - Crime is at an all time high. The economy has collapsed due to corruption and there was a large rebel outcry that lead to a short war. Bruce Murdock our hero..well anti-hero is a vigilante. His father was murdered by gangster Nathan Greene in 2010. Bruce has sworn vengeance and vows to kill Greene and destroy his organization. However the mysterious organization Illusion Industries sees Bruce as a potential tool to wipe out there competition and lower the crime rates considerably. So Bruce finally has a chance to get his revenge, but he's not alone. He'll have the help of hacker Rylus Carlyle who is being blackmailed by Greene to do his cyber crimes. Sasha Hamilton, an undercover Police officer who's on Bruce's trail but waiting to strike and Earl Jonas, an ex gangster who worked for Greene but snitched on a few details so Greene wants him dead. Illusion decides to form a team of with Bruce, Rylus, Sasha and Earl and they become...The Agents of Illusion!

    Bruce Murdock 2: Traditions of the Trade.

    Hong Kong 2024 - Bruce and his friends are sent to China by Illusion to take out Green Dragon triad gang leader Lee Xang. Although from the start there is trouble. Murdock's Chinese contact was murdered in a gang war fight so no equipment. So Bruce goes against the team's wishes and sneaks into Lee Xang's factory to get some weaponry. Bruce gets lucky and snags a Sniper rifle however he picked up a shadow. Bruce manages to create more drama between the Dragons and there rivals the Black Rose triad. When things get heated, Bruce goes in to kill Lee Xang but get's captured by his henchmen Zao. Bruce is tortured to the point of near death and Rylus and Earl manage to catch the shadow and make him talk. Meanwhile Sasha goes to save Bruce by pretending to be a brothel girl. Meanwhile a real brothel girl, helps Bruce escape. Bruce gets spotted and Zao goes on a chase through an old abandoned apartment complex where Bruce is outgunned and outmatched and has to use his wits to slay the henchmen. Bruce will face his mortality when he finally slays Lee Xang in Traditions of the Trade.

    Bruce Murdock 3: Illusion of Death.

    Seattle 2025 - Bruce and friends have spent the last year and a half taking out Illusion's evil competitors however, after there most recent job, Illusion stops all communication on them. Assassins out of no where start trying to Kill Bruce and Rylus and then it's revealed. Illusion has betrayed them. Illusion follows a certain standard. Once something is used up, it's time to put it down. so Bruce, Rylus, Sasha and Earl have to survive on there wits and expertise and take on Illusion's deadly assassins...however the consequences will never be the same as Sasha gets murdered in a drive by and Bruce calls for the blood of Illusion's founder Clarence Edwards in....Illusion of Death.

    Bruce Murdock 4: Justice For All.

    Seattle 2025 - Bruce, Rylus and Earl have gone into hiding since Sasha's murder. Both Illusion and the CIA want Bruce's head. Bruce and Rylus sneak into Illusion Industries and attempt to blow up it's large computer network, however Rylus is shot and captured, Bruce thinks he's been killed and he snaps. Bruce manages to escape thanks to the mine he planted and Him and Earl continue to lay low until they discover a recording by Rylus. In the recording, Rylus reveals that him and Bruce are stepbrothers and that his hack worked. Bruce manages to break into Illusion's computer mainframe and finds out Rylus is still alive. Bruce goes to his old friend Manny who gives Bruce one of the biggest arsenals ever conceived. It's war and this time it's personal. Illusion must pay in Justice For All!

    Bruce Murdock 5: Eye for an Eye.

    The story for this one is still in development but I wanted to upload the poster anyway. Basically, someone is getting revenge on Bruce, wants to start a war and become a mad dictator. Simple enough. This is the Last film in the series and it does end on a high note.

    Thank you. To me Logo's are one of the most important part of any Project. I feel by changing up the logo, You give the poster it's own visual and identity. By doing so it branches it out from the others. :)

    I agree. There have been instances where I spent more time picking fonts and logos for my artwork than I did to create the drawing. They are a crucially important element indeed.
