This is controversial............... But for me (I know Connery and Craig have them) but all tattoos belong on UK council estates. This is why SC and DC's are 'covered up' whilst playing bond......not fitting for a gentlemen. Just my opinion.

I knew this thread would exist :)

So, last year I decided to have a proper midlife crisis and get myself a tattoo. After much deliberation I went for the 007 logo from the books, rather than the films (Bondian levels of snobbery right there), hidden under my watch Count Lippe-style:

I also wrote a piece on Bond and tattoos for the Artistic Licence Renewed website - many thanks to @RichardTheBruce for using the power of technology to dig up every reference to tattoos in Bond for me!

Now when I meet friends from the forum you can demand I identify myself...

Nice tattoo, @Agent_99! I really like the minimalistic 007 logo from the books. :-)

An interesting article that I enjoyed reading, @Agent_99. That was an inventive place to get the tattoo also!

So I'm working out some options. Similar path.

Couldn't be covering up the Doctor bird with my watch.
Though its exposed streamer-tail could be a great conversation starter.

I love the penguin and puffin in all their forms. Here's how the puffin looked on the spines of my childhood collection:

Consider also, from Devil May Care:

Yeah, @ggl007, ideally I'd consider the isolated Doctor bird from the logo, no signature.

With signature, I'd be obligated to include the trademark symbol. And the shape starts being a limitation for where to place it.
