Original 1960's Bond Cinema Goers
Are there any members like me who saw the first Bond films in the Cinema as soon as they came out in the 1960's ? I was at infants school when Dr.No came to our provincial theatre in spring 1963 - but I was allowed in with a parent. Dr.No amazed me - I had never seen a film so exciting or exotic. Do any members feel like I do that since the mid- 1970's Bond films have lost their smooth sense of glamour and have simply become a card punching exercise for stunt teams and computerised special effects ?
