Nah, arms dealing only happens on the set of a Bond film- no one would dare abuse the forum for such a thing. Anyone know where I can get a hold of the new tankbuster? (with depleted uranium shells, naturally).

I said "replica" not the real thing. I know I could do that if I wanted but I'd really live an airsoft or BB gun version of a Beretta 418 like Bond had from the books...

Guns are not cool. Guns kill people.
    Phasers are cool.
Well, phasers kill people too, especially in Omega Glory...

    Okay, nevermind...

@Master_Dahark Very cool! Its a PPK/S, right? What caliber?
  • edited April 2016 Posts: 4,813
It's a 22. You can hardly even feel anything when it fires, lol

I took it for another spin yesterday- and this time I brought my girlfriend, who's never held a gun before! She wasn't bad either!
I also rented the dreaded 500 MAGNUM. That thing sure kicks!

Didn't we have a sticky on the old forum that explained guns & UK law?
That's a rethorical question. We did.
Basically, the thinking was that as it was a UK based site that we would abide by UK law and not allow any links to where replica weapons could be purchased.
I suggest we do not use this forum to post or PM any such links. Agreed?

I used the same airsoft ppk that chrisisall used to make the three variants from Goldeneye N64 - the PP7!

Dusting off this thread to show a couple of my toy Walthers. Haven't been able to get ahold of a PP or even a PPK, but I have two PPK/S.

Resin cast in dark grey, unpainted and unsanded:

Detail on left side of slide:
Walther banner; Made in USA; under license of Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do
    Modell PPK/S Cal 9mm kurz / 380ACP

Detail on right side of slide:
    RING'S; Patent No. 5.451.162; Interarms Alexandria.Virginia
    serial no.: 027336
    ejection port cover: 'VA'
    grip banner: 'Walther'

Plastic gel blaster with sight rail on top:

Detail on left side of slide:
Walther banner; Made in W.Germany; Carl Walther Waffenfabrlk Ulm/Da.
    Modell PPK-L-CAl.7.65mm

I guess PPK-L is correct too, since it's made of light plastic.

    grip banner: 'QML300'

The only thing I don't like about it, is the magazine. It's a thin strip of plastic, but I don't plan of shooting it.

I can't even separate the mag from mine, it's molded to the grip! There's a hole in the top of the sight rail. You attach a dummy scope to the sight rail, and the scope acts as a magazine for the gel balls. They fall down through the hole into the slide.
