Charlotte, NC (the Queen City) To Host A Week Long Bond Celebration
The world’s most famous “secret” agent was brought to celluloid life in Dr. No by Sean Connery 50 years ago. Charlotte, the Queen City, will join in with other global celebrations of Bond, James Bond.
Our weeklong celebration will start on Saturday November 3rd with a car show featuring bond cars like Aston Martins, BMWs, Ferraris, Jaguars, Land Rovers and Lotus'. These cars will make a special tour around Charlotte with brief stops before our final destination. There we will watch Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace in a mini Bond marathon.
Our celebration will hit a crescendo on Wednesday November 7th with a Hollywood style red carpet reception featuring premium gift bags, flash popping Paparazzi, the advance screening of Skyfall and a VIP after party starring Dj Mini Beat.
This is an event not to be missed by movie fans and especially Bond enthusiasts! Join us, and be Bond for a night! After all, 007 only turns 50 once!
