Not a bad thing...considering the only other thing I know he was in was the Emmanuele series, a soft porn franchise in the 70s and 80s lol

Who could forget Ol' Rog chompin' on a wiener?

Probably the low point of his career :p That's worse than ANYTHING he ever did in Bond.

Lazenby- for a while Netflix actually had 'Who Saw Her Die'-- I couldn't finish it. Sorry George....

=)) Love it! Still not seen this movie! But i am guessing it is my kind of humour!
  • Connery - The Untouchables. End of.
Lazenby - N/A as I haven't seen him in anything outside of OHMSS, short of a few minutes of him in TV movies such as Return of the Man From Uncle
Moore - N/A as I haven't seen him in anything outside of Bond
Dalton - I thought he was quite good in Hawks. Being as it's melodrama some people may not like the style (tone?) of the film.
Brosnan - Again, the only thing I've seen him in outside of terrible films (Taffin, Live Wire) is The Ghost Writer where I thought he was adequate - I don't think that he did anything with the role that was different from what a lot of other actors would have done. However I've heard great things about Evelyn but keep forgetting to see it. Actually, forget that - I just remembered that I thought he was excellent in Grey Owl.
Craig - I thought he gave a quite well-rounded performance in The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo. I've not seen any of his more "art-house" fare which is where I hear he really shines.
  • What about TV? For Dalton fans, and fans of the spy genre; you should watch a television show called Chuck. In Season 4 Dalton plays the convincing and memorable main villain, Alexi Volkoff. Chuck itself is part of the spy genre, but has great Action, Comedy, Drama, Thrills, etc. Check it out sometime. Roger Moore on the other hand is great and very Bond-like on The Saint.

About Craig, you are absolutely right! Watch him in Sylvia and Flashbacks of a Fool. Terrific performances.

He was on six episodes, and it was glorious!

    Connery - The Rock
Lazenby - Who Saw Her Die?
    Moore - The Cannonball Run
    Dalton - Hawks
  • It's been mentioned before doubtless, but everybody should see Connery in 'The name of the Rose' I think it was called, he played a monk at an Italian monastery in the 16th century I think it was, and it was a quite superlative performance (with a young Christian Slater). Probably about the same time Highlander was released but I never really liked him in that - great movie though

also, The Hunt for Red October, did a very good job and even that film with Catherine Zeta Jones, Entrapment I think it was, that was a good movie and Connery did fine

I haven't seen much of Craig's other work, not really interested in what he does outside of Bond, but I did see Layer Cake once, and also Flashbacks and they were a decent watch, but I prefer to concentrate on the actor simply for what he can provide as James Bond

Of course a lot of these have been said but oh well can't change what we all know

Sean- The Rock, Hunt for Red October, Untouchables, Indy-Last Crusade,
George- Saw him in an episode of that old Superboy TV show...if that counts?
Roger- The Quest, and although the movie was awful, I loved Roger's scene in the Pink Panther film he did (I forget the exact name)
Timothy- Hot Fuzz, Toy Story 3
Pierce- The Matador, Mars Attacks, Mrs. Doubtfire
Daniel- Defiance (very proud to be a Jew when watching this), Dragon Tattoo, Cowboys and Aliens
  • Pierce Brosnan was in Mrs Doubtfire ?

I never knew that to be honest, but then have never seen it. I just thought, nearly 20 years after it's release I would of heard Brosnan's name associated with it, so that was a first for me. Just was never aware..

Mars Attacks I knew about, but never saw it, I think Michael Caine may have been involved too from what I can remember from time of release

I've never seen Cowboys and Aliens, but every time I read that, I keep seeing it as two seperate movies, i.e. Cowboys - and Aliens. I could imagine Craig in a film called Cowboys from know damn well that Craig was never in Aliens (1986), the second adventure with Sigourney Weaver and an all star cast. I've seen it about thirty times and well, Craig has never been seen in it...

Just something that always comes up for me when I see that movie mentioned

I love Volkoff's truly evil moments like this:

  • Sean The hill (my all time favourite British made film)
    R.M. Nothing
    Pierce Thomas Crown
    Daniel Layer cake
  • HASEROTHASEROT has returned like the tedious inevitability of an unloved season---
