    Even then without the internet, online discussions, facebook, twitter and mobile phones the press still had an unerring ability to pick up enough rumours and half truths in order to get so much of their coverage completely wrong.

    Enjoyed this trip down memory lane! Interesting about the Playmate, while I can't see anyone else playing Solitaire...she would have been a nice diversion for the eyes!
