    Must admit I was going by my film preference, but it's more or less the ranking I'd give if ranking his performances.

    I don't know if I could rank his performances, I think he's always ace.
    I guess I prefer the Hamilton version slightly less, but then Roger is still superb in them. I find it hard to imagine anyone else owning the role so immediately as he does in LALD, especially when it had been entirely dominated by the long shadow of Connery to that point.
