I'm already looking forward to it after being disappointed by Skyfall. Hope no Sam Mendes, no stupid writers. Hope it is a BOND movie. AKA a SPY movie. http://www.metro.co.uk/film/916197-bond-24-slated-for-2014-release-as-daniel-craig-looks-to-continue-success

I respect your free thinking because the current consensus is very different. But I remember when I went to see Die Another Day, no one I knew disliked it and called it classic Bond at the time. And I was underwhelmed with DAD.

But Skyfall feels like it has been shoved down my throat. Even before you see it, you have to love it or else with some fans.

The publicity it got starting with the Olympics Opening Ceremony was just the beginning. And it has been noted, that we are not seeing Bond as being a spy as much as he used to be.

And they are revealing way too much about him which is not what made Bond a global phenomenon back in the day. It is the trend with all films these days, like comic book and the such.
