Very sad news indeed. A fantastic director. "The Hill" with Conners is truly brilliant. RIP.

"The Offence" with Conners on a rampage is also great.

don't forget DOG DAY AFTERNOON, SERPICO, THE ANDERSON TAPES and MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS (both latter titles star Sir Sean Connery)

p.s. I watched Fail Safe when I was 10 years old and it scared the hell out of me!!

May he rest in peace. We had lost one of the greats of film. I loved Sean Connery in his film The Anderson Tapes.

Unquestionably one of the true greats of 'modern Hollywood'. Serpico? Dog Day Afternoon? Network? Few films are better, let's be honest.

    RIP.

Murder on the Orient Express: I seen it so many times, I know who dun it! But everytime I watch it, it's like watching it for the first time and it still has the power to hold my attention and keep me in suspense!
