The db5 as to be the most famous Bond car of all time as its always played apart in the films and will be missed by millions but what other cars court your attention and why?

    Pretty simple top ten list here. No explanation needed really, speaks for itself...
    1- Aston Martin DB5 - GF, TB, GE, TND, CR, SF
    2- Aston Martin DBS (2006) - CR, QoS
    3- Aston Martin V-8 Vantage - TLD
    4- Aston Martin Vanquish - DAD
    5- Aston Martin DBS (1969) - OHMSS
    6- Lotus Esprit - TSWLM, FYEO
    7- Ford Mustang Mach1 - DAF
    8- BMW 750iL - TND
    9- BMW Z8 - TWINE
    10- BMW Z3 - GE

    1) Lotus (s1, not the FYEO turbo)
    2) DB5
    3) DBS
    4) V-8 Vantage
    5) BMW Z8

    The Aston Martin DB5 is legendary. The Lotus underwater Esprit, amazing. Love the other Aston Martins.

    Don't ask me why but I have a huge soft spot for the Citreon 2CV from FYEO.

    It will always be the DB5. Simply the perfect car in every way. Classic appeal, and connects us to the 60s where Bond was at his best. Not only does the DB5 have an ageless aesthetic and refinement to it, but as Skyfall has shown, it is a timeless car that will forever remain in our hearts and minds. To the DB5!

    Seriously though the Lotus just has a more sports car look which I like better. To the Lotus!

    My top two are tied:

    DB5 (GF) AND V8 VOLANTE (TLD)

    the rest are kinda mixed

    I actually didn't mind them apart from the pointless Z3. Obviously Aston Martins are by far the preferred choice anytime.

    7) Toyota 2000 GT convertible (YOLT)
    8) Lotus Esprit (TSWLM/FYEO)


    Well, these cars seem to fit Bond perfectly (no matter how silly or how great), fast & stylish. The 2000 GT Convertible is the only one in existence, it resides at a Toyota museum in the Netherlands.

    The BMW Z3 was wasted in GE, but it wasn't a great car, just read the car magazine reviews.

    The Lotus in TSWLM and FYEO was different. In FYEO it was the Turbo, in TSWLM it was the s1 :-B

    The Z8 was the best of the BMW's. I would loved to have driven one. It has a kind of brutish elegance about it.
