Casino Royale with gun barrel at the start. For best picture/sound quality click the HD 720p mode. It's at the bottom right, the icon that looks like a bit like a snowflake.

    The actual gun barrel isn't by me. Someone else created it and hosted in on Youtube. I just mixed it in with the start of Casino Royale. I've also altered the end of the pre-credit scene, removed the gun barrel sequence where the bad guy gets the gun and Craig turns around and shoots. I might host that.

    Here is the end of the pre-credit scene. The original version has Bond shooting the guy and saying "considerably" and then we cut to the toilet and Craig shooting the gun and then the titles start. This is the version if the gun barrel starts at the beginning of the film so we don't need Craig shooting the gun in the toilet...

    The problem with CR is you had the company logos in black and white, and the PTS in black in white. Throwing a color Gun barrel in the middle of that would have been tacky.

    But yes, Craig slowed down is his best gun barrel.

    Then why not strip the colour from the Gun barrel, @JWESTBROOK, as it's fairly monotone anyway? They can keep the blood trickle red which was very effective and arty in Sin City against the B&W imagery and then fade in as a red dot as the example above.

    Love it, gun barrel is like bonds signature at beginning of a bond film. Eon please put it where it belongs bond 24.

    That's not the only thing. This design is from the Brozza era. But Daniels walk and fire is now virtually perfect.

    Am I missing something here or what? Most of us seem to be in agreement here that this is better than the QOS and SF GBs so why is someone who actually gets paid to make these decisions green lighting rubbish like the last two?

    CR is a different animal as I'd hate to lose the turn and shot into the opening bars of YKMN.
