In March of 1960, through a mutual friend named Marion Oates Leiter, Fleming and the then President Kennedy met over dinner. Marion introduced John to Bond in the form of the Fleming novels while he was recovering from an operation he'd had back in 55'. The two got exceedingly comfortable with each other. Fleming even talked with John about his own ideas of beating Castro, and these same ideas where tossed around for consideration at Langley. JFK also majorly influenced the Bond films, as the second part of my post stated. After the success of DN in 1962, and their greenlight from United Artists, EON wondered what book to adapt next. I'm sure they were relieved to hear news stating that John named From Russia With Love in his top ten favorite books list for Life magazine. EON saw this and chose FRWL as the next Bond film. Sadly, FRWL just so happened to be the last film JFK saw on the 20th of November, 1963, only two days before his death. I'll take a break and let someone have a go. I do have a BOND FILM related question next so as not to upset anyone.
On to you if you are so willing @Baltimore_007.

This thread needs some more trivia!
This has got to be incorrect, I know of at least one other example such as in Moonraker where Bond (I hope, if memory serves), doesn't drive a car, he's merely a passenger (The ride from the airport in Brazil for instance), just wanted to highlight this
My question is
Apart from Bond himself and any other M16 Regulars, (Q, M, M'penny, Tanner etc), who is the only other 'Bond character' to appear in three or more films during the entire franchise (I think I'm right with this)
oh, and it's not Blofeld or anything such
shouldn't be too difficult actually
Keep at it.
I'll hold my hands up and admit I was a bit sneaky with this one
big clue, it's of female gender
Gotta get it now
I really have no idea but i'll say Tracy just because she's mentioned in atleast 3 movies after OHMSS
She is after all a Bond character and was seen in Golden Gun , AVTAK (people will understand) and Octopussy, I was being a bit sneaky
I should of said actor/actress but that may have made it easier
I guess I'll let someone else have a go.
Bond is known for wearing a tuxedo/dinner jacket yet he doesn't in 2 movies. Which ones? (and i'm ruling out a wrong answer that might confuse some: FRWL. Technically it wasn't Bond, but a spectre agent disguised as Bond wearing it, but it counts in my book)
If so...Tracy?? :-??
How many Bond films do NOT have a car chase ? This includes all vehicles on a road with four wheels either chasing Bond or being chased by him .
From Russia With Love, Moonraker, The World Is Not Enough and Casino Royale?
A few tricky ones there ..over to you ..
What single factor separates Tomorrow Never Dies from the rest of the films?
Keep guessing.
Cold, in fact frozen.
It's not about the actual film per say, more of an unusual bit of information.
