  • It's been 8 days since the right answer was posted by Baltimore_007, and I had no idea thanks to the thread being on page 5 of the forum :P

    Over to you.
  • And where's there's one there's the other

    I leave you with

Which artist that was involved with a Bond theme intro was offered a cameo in that years 007 release but turned down the opportunity

(Too bad it wasn't Madonna) :L

Sheena Easton perhaps? I know she did some acting work around the time she did the FYEO theme. This'll be my last guess. I'll let others try.
  • No it's not Easton

Remember, someone who was involved in a Bond theme was offered a part in that years 007 release but declined the invitation

    Surprised no-one got it

    John Barry?
  • No it's not barry

It's an actual artist who DID a Bond theme, not a composer or anything such

So you'd be looking at names like Matt Monroe, Lulu, Nancy Sinatra etc etc

    Carly Simon?
  • No No No and lo and behold, another No

    I'll give a pointer

This artist was a neighbor of someone who appeared as a Bond girl 13 years previous

I can't give away any years or time reference as it would surely give it away

    Shirley Manson of garbage fame?
  • Manson's been said before as I understand it, and that constituted an incorrect answer

Furthermore, There was no James Bond release in 1986

    Whoops! :-)
  • Think of a Bond girl, go forward 13 years and think of a 'country cousin' or close neighbor as to who this artist really is, sorry I can't be more helpful

    Tom Jones
  • After doing the maths, Morten Harket?
  • Well done Mathis, that was the right answer

A-HA was a group from Norway, did the 1987 Daylights theme, and Britt Ekland, a Swedish actress was in Bond 13 years earlier in Golden Gun and is a Scandanavian neighbor, relative if you will

There was a fine joke about the members of A-HA, but it might have been mentioned already somewhere down the line

    Let's keep this rolling etc..
  • A simple one.

In which film do you see a blue boy?

It's the painting (a Gainsborough) that gets slashed in the sword fight scene
  • Thank you kind sir!

Next one (probably very easy but I'll give it a try):

A mistake in the translation saw Dr No released in Japan under what title?
