I also thought about helicopters being blown away in all these films, but this is about characters (and besides, I don't remember a helicopter exploding in NSNA)...
No answer, then.
A common character trait in TSWLM, FYEO, NSNA, AVTAK and SP.
The need for revenge/vengeance?
Another clue. The most minor of those characters is probably in TSWLM. FYEO is an odd one. The most major characters are in NSNA and AVTAK. They also serve the same functions in those two films.
Enough clues.
Characters in TSWLM, FYEO, NSNA, AVTAK and SP have one thing in common. That is one character per film.
But out of curiosity, which character did you have in mind for each of those films, @Birdleson?
Max Zorin (dead)
Maximilian Largo (dead)
Max the parrot (lived)
Max Kalba (dead)
Max Denbigh (dead)
Yes, but he isn t named as such and there is no indication it is supposed to be the same bird.
What theme connects Zardoz, The Play What I Wrote and Hot Fuzz?
I need more than that.
Well, he did sport a beard in "North Sea Hijack". Dalton sports one in "Penny Dreadful", and Sir Sean Connery has one in "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".
