Just reposting my current trivia question:

What connects the fire juggler in OP with Guy Haines in QOS?

Does it have to do with Hitchcock?

Just reposting my current trivia question:

Guy Haines is played by he actor Paul Ritter, whom also stars in the British sitcom Friday Night Dinner. The fire juggler's skill would be adept at, er, cooking Friday night dinner?

I jest, but who knows...? ;)

    Ha, really?

Ah, wait, a bit of research reveals to me that - bizarrely - the fire juggler in OP was played by the excellent Mark Heap (never better than in Green Room, by the way), who appears in Friday Night Dinner with Paul Ritter (Guy Haines in QOS).

Thanks. I'll think on it and try to remember to post a poser this evening. :)

All right, here's the next question...

Were you to go out for a night of Chinese-cuisine fine dining in London's Knightsbridge, NYC's Tribeca, California's Malibu or Beverly Hills, or Miami Beach, what might connect that with a viewing of Casino Royale?

All right, as there's been no movement on this one, here's a clue - you might want to start by looking at Bond film cast members...

Well it lead me to read the whole Wikipedia article on Tsai Chin, which was interesting but led me no closer to an answer!

Really? Interesting because you're so warm there you're practically piping hot... ;)

Ah OK. Tsai Chin's brother Michael Chow owns the Mr Chow restaurants in those locations.

But since he's also SPECTRE #4 in YOLT alongside Tsai Chin in her earlier role, I'm not sure why the question is about CR.

She was in CR as one of the card players on Le Chiffre's yacht though,Madame Wu.

Yes I know, hence me referring to "her earlier role". Anyway, it's academic, I'm sure @St_George will confirm we're on the same wavelength.

I don't have any questions lined up, so the floor is open to anyone who has something in mind.

*Ding-ding* Well done, @barryt007; over to you.

Sorry, @Tokoloshe2, just put in the CR element to add that extra layer to the question (given I thought, without that, it wasn't particularly difficult and so it'd be answered a lot quicker than it took). ;)

No disrespect the fine fellow that is barryt007, but it's quite obviously my win. I reference Tsai Chin in the first place precisely because she's in CR and then referred to YOLT as 'her earlier role'.

Anyway it doesn't matter since I'm opening the floor to anyone for the next question.

All right, I take the challenge : what do Dame Diana Rigg and Geoffrey Palmer have in common ? Clue : I'm not talking about Doctor Who here, or their most famous roles either. In fact, nothing related to any of their respective acting work.

    Hmm, good question.

Some connection between their respective children perhaps (Palmer's son is a TV drama director and Rigg's daughter is the actress Rachael Stirling)?

No, it's more direct than that. And Royalty is involved.
Nope. In fact, I just realized I already gave the answer. And that's something that's shared by many actors in the Bond-verse.

    Related to royalty, that is?

Nope. In fact, as I said before, I already gave the answer in the question.

    Ok so new question then
Yup, I guess so. But as for the answer : they're both members of the Order of the British Empire. Diana Rigg is a Dame, Geoffrey Palmer is an Officer.

    I have a trivia question.

Who did McClory want for Bond in Thunderball before he teamed up with EON and Connery?
