That's not who I'm looking for, did he appear with Bonds?

Only found 2 Bonds so far; Connery in The Longest Day and Craig in Tomb Raider.
His filmography is pretty impressive and includes close to a hundred movies so I didn't check each one to see if a third Bond appeared in it.

My longtime thought here was OHMSS and the beautiful Shakira Caine leading to Michael Caine.

Oh nice. Just checked IMDb and it states she was one of the extras in the casino.
Never would have guessed that one.

This might draw multiple answers from motorheads, I'm interested in the responses it draws. Or it might just be outright easy and a quick turn.

Name a car Bond drives that wasn't marketed for sale in the US. I'm thinking of a particular one of course.

    Citroen 2CV?

    I believe that's also correct.

    How about an American make.

Ford Mondeo? Was that sold there? I don't really know.

Although Bond doesn't drive them the Cortina and Ka have big roles in TSWLM and QoS respectively and I suspect they may not have been US models either.

That's exactly what I was looking for, @mtm.

The beautiful Ford Mondeo from Casino Royale semi-famously featured in the Bahamas, but it was never sold in the US.

Although weirdly I think the first couple of models of Mondeo were sold in the US! I'm sure I saw one in a Jeff Bridges film.

I believe that very car is probably still at Beaulieu motor museum: it was a pre-production prototype so is in a trim that they were never sold in.

On that basis I guess the most obvious answer to the question is the Aston Martin DB10 he drives in Spectre: a car which was never on sale in the US, or indeed anywhere else! :D

Also I believe they did sell one DB10 to a regular consumer... though likely not in the means you're referring. ;)

That's possible I'm not aware. Ford has long sold their Focus, I believe the Mondeo is a variant of that model.

And the prototypes that were never sold to customers fit the bill of course.

I've decided to reopen that thread, laid dormant since january, and to start with, an easy question (I've got a few more, and some are really difficult) :

What's the common link between FYEO and DAD ? I'm talking about something that only happened in those two movies (to the best of my knowledge).

MTM is right. Yout turn, pussycat (now, there's a reference not many people will get, even if itinvolves Pierce Brosnan).

Ah thank you! Sorry for getting it quickly: I know it's always a bit disappointing!
I'll come up with a quick one.

Okay, here's one: what did Brosnan's Bond never say that all the other Bonds did?

    "I love you"?

Struggling to remember Moore saying it, though.

I know it's likely there probably is more than one answer, but there is a specific and possibly quite surprising answer I'm looking for :)

The “Bond, James Bond” introduction has been used by every actor in some form or another, but could it be that Brosnan is the only one who’s never uttered the classic version “My name is Bond, James Bond” ?
My guesses so far are based on my recollection of Lazenby’s dialogue as he only played in one film, which greatly narrows the possibilities.
  • "I'd like to interest you in a demolition deal that requires certain aerial activity to install equipment" ?

Interesting one. I'm pretty sure Craig doesn't say it either. He's always asked "Mr..?". Except for Casino where he says "The name's..."

Maybe, it's worth looking into. I know he said 'name's Bond, James Bond' in GE, but I guess he dropped the 'My'.

Again, it's not what I'm after, but you are getting closer. :)

That's a good one, pretty sure he says it when he goes to meet Electra for the first time though. I wonder if the other Bonds all say it? I feel like Lazenby won't have.

For the new page, the question is:
What did Brosnan's Bond never say that all the other Bonds did?
