Very sad news. The Brubeck Quartet was responsible for getting me hooked on jazz at a young age, and I've loved the music ever since. If you're looking for some great Brubeck jazz albums, I highly recommend "Jazz Goes To College", "Bernstein Plays Brubeck Plays Bernstein", "Jazz Impressions of New York", and, of course, "Time Out".
Rest in peace.
