The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

I'm concerned Eon has given up on trying to decide on a title and are just going with B25.

    They'll come up with something.

Monty Norman is under a bad sign.

    B O O M _ S H O T _ M I S S

is very, very catchy. Title contender.

I’m glad they dropped ‘A Reason To Die’. The suits were right in my opinion - not Bondian enough. There are a lot of titles this movie could be given but many just aren’t Bondian enough. I still like ‘A World Without Want’. It’s been a while since ‘The World Is Not Enough’. :)

May I suggest Risico, once again? They're never going to outdo Fleming's deft hand with titles--every time they have tried, they've failed. LTK, TND, DAD, SF.
Throw in a couple of Fleming lines when they go to shoot in Matera for the PTS. "In this business there is much risico..." Call out the title early and get it over with, like a Hitchcock cameo late in his career. PWB can write it. Done.

I wish. I have this bad feeling we won’t get a Fleming title, but I would love to see Risico or The Property of a Lady.

At this point, I feel if it isn't Risico, I'll be really disappointed. I've been against one word titles after Skyfall and Spectre but I'd forgive it only in this case. I mean it's Fleming after all.

This has probably been discussed but how do we feel about the April release date? I'm a little worried about how the impending summer movie season could hurt the film's legs. Autumn always seems like a safer bet and they moved the films there from summer in reaction to LTK flopping in the US due to being sandwiched between The Last Crusade and Batman.

    Licence Renewed

    Or

    Bomboclot

(no reason, just love the sound of this very old Jamaican cuss)

What about something with Jamaica in the title?

    Return to Jamaica

    No rest for the wicked

I don't hate A Reason To Die. Though all derivatives of die/live/kill are lazy especially after:
    1. You Only Live Twice
    2. Live And Let Let Die
    3. A View To A Kill
    4. The Living Daylights
    5. Licence To Kill
    6. Tomorrow Never Dies
    7. Die Another Day

it's a fairly generic and lazy title. But I don't despise it. But it's pretty interchangeable.

Though the title would suggest that Bond is perhaps on his final assignment and is no longer looking for a reason to live. When you google that you get a lot of suicide prevention websites. Maybe Bond's mental health is about to suffer. Perhaps hinting at rumours that this is Daniel and Bond's last mission.

    Why not go for:

    THE FINAL ASSIGNMENT

Personally, I'm quite infatuated with ONCE UPON A SPY as it makes the same thematic point. Though I have suggested that title to people in real life and they have made audible groans and visibly cringed.

I suspect that Fukunaga and Eon may be speaking to songwriters and asking them for titles they could write something about. I reckon they should just get Alex Turner to read the script and come up with a title, he's terrific at naming things.

Just to say I'm really glad it was not titled A Reason To Die. I think it's meh, lame, and I would have been quite disappointed.

Totally agree. Awful title. They should get PWB to come up with one.

    Eclipse is better. Perfectly serviceable.

But sure they can do better.

A Reason To Die - I suppose that could link in to the rumour Craig's Bond was going to die at the end of the film.

    How about:

    For Love, Hate And Reason
"Why do you do your job, Mr Bond?"

    "For love, hate and reason."

If A Reason To Die was 100 percent legit and Eon decided against it, I'd go with For Love, Hate And Reason as the alternative. I think it sounds quite cool when you say it aloud.

    My Top 3 choices:

    1. The Property of a Lady
    2. Risico
    3. For Queen and Country

I like For Queen and Country.

Time to give up on POAL and Risico I think.

I will reiterate my suggestion of For Your Loving Memory, given that it is Craig's last.
Personally I'd prefer a title not referencing the fact that it's Craig's last. Some inferred that A Reason to Die ties in with the rumor of Bond's death, but I think it's still pretty ambiguous and could mean a lot of things. Some jumped on Swansong, but I'd really dislike that (third straight one-word S title, and the reference of it being Craig's last).
