I imagine a very realistic, contemporary story - something about opium trade in Afghanistan...and you have parts of the CIA actually subsidizing poppy production and some corruption going on. Bond (and Leiter?) step in, uncover the corruption, there is a cat-and-mouse game with the Americans etc. - and in the background, the compromised CIA agents are working for a sinister organization profiting from opium and weapons trade - that organization's name is Quantum/SPECTRE?
So the title would have two meanings - literal valleys in Afghanistan and the cat-and-mouse game of competing spies...
By the way: GOOD TO BE BACK! I somehow couldn't access this forum for over half a year. I always got an error message. Glad this is sorted out.
Multiple Requiem, The Shadower and The Red-Eyes Catacomb from TB are great too, although what the latter could refer to might be challenging.
I think a nice long title could be nice, if done right. 4+ words
edit: Never Dream of Dying, Zero Minus Ten, High Time to Kill (all Benson titles) I would also like just fine.
It echoes the shadows theme introduced by Mallory, it allows for the return of Mr White in a key role and it sounds Bondian and mysterious.

One million ways to die
(I had this one written down a few years ago but now I see there will be a film titled 'one million ways to die in the west'.... ugh..)
High time to look at the inner workings of MI6 and to bring in all other 00's. At least one of them needs to be the Bond girl.
Lives are for the taking
It sounds more like a superhero movie though...
It is the name of a Rolls Royce, which might cause issues. Of the LALD's chapters titles, I think Passionate Leave might be the best, although maybe too soft sounding. TSWLM and FRWL had titles that were soft, but the presence of the words spy and Russia gave them an aura of danger and mystery.

WHAT HAPPENS IN TOKYO STAYS IN TOKYO
Two hours of both of them, a night on the town, chainsmoking and getting drunk as they visit miscellaneous strip clubs and engage in random acts of violence. Rated R. I would pay $50 to see this in theaters.

I really like this idea.
Still, these little continuity thingies were done so nicely. Same with the line "I know when a girl is afraid and pretends not to be". Makes both "Casino Royale" and "Skyfall" look like a true double bill.
