The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

I pulled for Property of a Lady since "Bond 23". There was some awesome fan poster I saw of it a few years ago with a lady having a Quantum "Q" logo in her eye. Anyway that could still be a good title to use. Risico could be decent too.

EDIT: The fan poster I mentioned:

I'd say the use of that name as an in-joke in SP has intentionally killed off any possibility of it being used as a film title. No great loss.

That would be my take on it too. Can't ever see THR being used, EON wouldn't want to risk the head-scratching from the general populous that followed the announcemenr of QOS as a title.

Always thought the ideal time to have referenced it was in TSWLM when Bond was posing as a oceanologist and Stromberg was testing his knowledge of exotic fishes.

    Bond does not go rogue.

    I like Shatterhand.

I agree, but I think Property of a Lady shouldn't be used either because it appeared in Octopussy.

I'm fine with any unused Fleming. Full stop. Property of a Lady was only mentioned in passing in OP. So I'm fine with it.

Personally I wonder if the nod to the Hildebrand rarity is actually a way to make people more comfortable with the title imagine if Quantum (or proto Spectre as I like to call them) was named in Casino Royale. Quantum of Solace would of possibly been more accepted or if the dictionary was invented before 2008 or if People listened to Michael G Wilson's explanation of the title instead of being distracted by Gemma Arteson's beauty.

I personally would be thrilled of Bond 25 was The Hildebrand Rarity and then after all the jokes complaints and annoyance about the title be crushed it was used lol

Time will tell. One thing I can say is the Craig era has been extremely surprising looking at the titles

First Film with a Novel title since 1981's For Your Eyes Only
First Film with a Short Story title since 1987 and the one most people didn't realize it was going to be used and though it was the least likely of the 5
First original title that didn't have Die in the title
First us of a Chapter title (the world is not enough is metioned in OHMSS but it's the Latin version that is the chapter title not the English translation that is used) as a title

So I believe Bond 25's title will be as unique also it would be interesting honestly if Craig's era doesn't have death kill die or Gold in any of his titles.

In terms of what I want/ what makes sense

    The Hildebrand Rarity
    Blofeld
    The Property of A Lady
    The Silver Phantom
    Valley of Shadows

    And of course

    Spectre 2 Electric Bugaloo

I agree, but I think Property of a Lady shouldn't be used either because it appeared in Octopussy.

I disagree. OHMSS mentioned "the world is not enough" and then it became a title years later. I can see this happening with "The Property of a Lady." Ditto "Spectre."

"The Hildebrand Rarity" is a tough one to envision on a marquee but then again, I never would have guessed we'd see "Quantum of Solace."

Someone on reddit suggested Semper Occultus, which means "Always Secret" and is the motto of MI6. I quite like it.

and given how Spectre ends, it could very well be a possibility.

I always forget that OHMSS title drops four Bond movies, and, apart from OHMSS itself, they all came out after.

    THE HILDEBRAND RARITY
One of the short stories in the novel FYEO

Surely unlikely now after the name has made an appearance in SP...unless that safe house is the spring board for the next film!
