The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

  • Something like Trigger Mortis would be quite excellent for a Bond title. It's a clever and appropriate wordplay on a familiar phrase ("rigor mortis"); there's a degree of sophistication in the use of Latin; and the resulting phrase makes sense unto itself: Trigger of Death. Horowitz chose wisely in the title of his first Bond novel. If we could get a title with the level of cleverness and sophistication behind Trigger Mortis, I would be more excited than I have been for any original title since The World Is Not Enough—and even that came from Fleming originally!

Daniel Craig is Ian Fleming's James Bond in:

A DOZEN EGGS, OLIVES, AND MARMITE.

Inspired by a long-lost Fleming shopping list circa 1957.

I'd vote for that. With Craig and Waltz returning, and the story following Fleming's YOLT.

Now that I think about it, I'd take only Waltz returning too. Introducing a new Bond but keeping the same Blofeld could help establish a sense of continuity.

Why do you arbitrarily post "delete" without any sign of an edited post? Just asking.

    Sense of mystery. ...just kidding.

I was multitasking and meant to post comment on another thread. The Dynamite one to be exact.

    Sorry.

A prequel to Goldfinger perhaps, starring Oddjob.

I like John Gardner's title "Nobody Lives Forever" and it would be apt if it was to be promoted as DC's final fling. Or of course they could just call it The Final Fling. Or Casino Royale II: The Last Hand.
