Can anyone tell me what Bond films Michael Wilson had cameos in and where they are in the film. I've spotted him in some but don't think them all

Ah great thanks, will keep an eye out for him now :D
  • In Casino Royale, is he also in the scene where M is calling Bond to find out where the money is? The man's back to the camera, looking out the window.

Ah yes, the great mystery. Who's in bed with M?

Could be the next fanfic: In bed with M - Confessions of a man.

    Here's the answer:
He's a mourner at the funeral.

    What is a mourner?
Someone, often at a funeral, missing the lost person, thinking of them, feeling sad about their passing, maybe praying for them, etc. A mourner.

I would guess there will be many of them in a row, just like in The World Is Not Enough and Wilson will be one of them.

Why are we all talking in spoilers?

My two favorites are TND and CR. They're also the first two I recognized him in.

Some may not want to know where Wilson's cameo is in the new film, which is what the spoilers disclose.

And the post at the beginning, which details them all? That doesn't need to be a spoiler, but the definition of a mourner does? Hell, just the question of what a mourner is needs to be tagged?

It's regarding a film that isn't out so one could argue it's a spoiler. Better to be safe.

Yes, but it's only speculation, isn't it? Or is it confirmed that Wilson is playing that role?

It's confirmed. Hence my "here's the answer" line.

Michael G Wilson turns up in James Bond movies with the tedious inevitability of an unloved season

Jaguar has it all referenced well enough in an above response. Damn guy gets all over the place, often goes unnoticed to the casual viewer, but he's been present in at least half of the Bond releases since Doctor No, just easy to miss him sometimes that's all

It was only until recently that it was brought to my attention that director Martin Campbell was in Goldeneye and Moore was in Die Another Day as extras. Back to school for me..

Martin Campbell was in GE? I knew he was in CR (the driver of the truck that bomber Carlos tries to use to blow up the plane), but I've never seen him in GE.

Martin Campbell is the lead Bicyclist in GoldenEye during the Race with Xenia
and Roger Moore's Daughter was the Airplane stewardess in DAD.

Pah, spoilt it, I was going to say Deborah Moore was in Die Another Day, Roger's daughter, as Brosnan flies from Cuba to the UK

    >:P

And yes, Campbell was a cyclist in the south of France as Brosnan and Janssen go motor racing above Monte Carlo

I have honestly never noticed these. And now I will probably try to forget what I read. Because maybe some day I can enjoy looking at that kind of trivia, but when I am watching the movie of course I want to be into the movie, not recognizing MGW or other cameos of that kind. I am surprised, though; I had no idea it was so prevalent.

Roger Moore should have been in DAD, could have saved that horrible mess!

Or going back in time and erasing Lee Tamahori from existence, maybe.
