My good sir, all it takes is to google 'MI6Community + [insert topic here]' and the forum will tell you whether it's been done or not. And please do so before creating a new thread.

Also, I doubt No Good About Goodbye qualifies as a Bond song.

Thank you and this HASN'T been done before. Any help for the big bond song compilation would be much appreciated.
  • I'd add "3 Blind Mice" and "Underneath the Mango Tree" from Dr. No, plus "We Have All the Time in the World" and "Do You Know How Christmas Trees are Grown" from OHMSS. :)

"If You Asked Me To" from Licence To Kill
  • It's good that you forgot to include what could be the very worst of the lot, the nauseating and most belligerent "Experience of Love", by Eric Serra

And since when was there a James Bond music piece called 'Boom Boom'

That was a hit by The Outhere Brothers wasn't it. I don't remember anything such from the world of Bond, although pleased I may have missed it..

Everything else seems in order and factual even if I wasn't fully aware of the piece that was The Look of Love, unless it's something else I recognize but under a different name

The Look of Love comes from the 1967 version of Casino Royale.

    You can add:

From Casino Royale '67: Casino Royale (end title) and Dream oN James, You're Winning

From FYEO: Make It Last All Night

From NSNA: Never Say Never Again and Une Chanson d'Amour (not Michel Legrand's best effort)

    From AVTAK: California Girls

From LTK: Wedding Party and Dirty Love

From Skyfall: Boum (by Charles Trénet) and Boom Boom (written by John Lee Hooker, sung by the Animals)

  • Ah, Casino Royale 1967

No wonder I didn't recognize it, I haven't seen that movie since I don't know how long, must be at least 20 years if not more. As far detached from Bond as you can imagine, I thought Never Say Never Again was a more plausible spoof - which it was

You added California Girls from The Beach Boys (originally) also. I had forgotten about that as well - strangely enough

    Can't imagine why

It was written by Arnold and he did pitch it to the producers for Quantum.. so I'd count it.

Unfortunately, I couldn't forget about it. I have too good a memory for the bad things, I'm afraid.

On the other hand, The Look of Love is a great song. At least good enough to be nominated for an Oscar, at a time when it meant something.
  • The KD Lang song from "Tomorrow never Dies." Can't remember the title.

Boom Boom is the music that
    Silva plays on his helicopter
. The look of love is from the 67 Casino Royale
