Thanks @RogueAgent. I'd love to take credit for that, but I'm not very creative. ;-)

I actually love the title can you replace the gag girl with Katiy Lotz as my phone needs a new background

Just a thought : Sony didn't expect Skyfall would be such a hit, as anyone else. Now I guess Bond 24 is expected to do near a billion too. Does it mean we may see Bond 24 be given the Sony megablockbuster treatment (see Amazing Spider-Man & ASM2) ? That is to say : almost all the movie in the trailers, teasers, exclusive previews... They already gave for free the main action sequence with Skyfall, but it was rather quiet apart from that. It could be in full throttle mode for Bond 24.

Skyfall was a much larger hit than both TASM and TASM 2 so if they are wise they will repeat the marketing campaign of Skfall for Bond 24 rather than doing what they did for the Spider-Man movies.

Norwegian actress confirms she'd been tested for a role in Bond 24 in Denmark and afterwards met Sam Mendes in Pinewood Studios.

I hope we get two unknowns for this film. One of eight, eh? Only five more to discover.

I'm sure more will be revealed soon. We're getting closer every day, now.

Bond has to be going to Scandinavia now, surely? Bring on the snow.

I thought she looked familiar. She was excellent in 'Headhunters,' and I, too, want some relative unknowns for B24.

Nice to see more news coming out. I'll chomp at every bit I can see (that isn't spoiler-ish) until filming starts, then I want to avoid everything else.

@Samuel001, what do you mean by one of eight?

The article says she was one of eight actors screen testing for a role.

And if so it has to be Norway! No boring Danish grass or endless, Swedish forests, but majestic, Norwegian fjords, filmed with snow during winter! That would be epic! :D

The perfect Scandinavian contribution to the cinematic Bond is as follows:

    Danish villains
    Swedish bond girls
    Norwegian locations

She is lovely! I'd be so happy for a Bond girl to be blonde again.

I hope so very, very much that some of the filming is in Norway - other Scandinavian locations very welcome, too. And it hasn't been filmed there before; I hope Mendes does film there, I really do.

I think (if she is a Bond girl in B24) this will be the first time Daniel Craig's Bond stars alongside a Bond girl that is taller than him.

Haha! She is 5 cm taller than him. She is my height, 183 cm. Would look better next to me.

Was Berenice exactly his height then? Just wondering.
Honestly, Craig is definitely tall enough as Bond for me.

I am glad we are getting genuine audition info now. (Not just models saying, "Oh my schedule is so busy I had to turn down the Bond film role they offered me ...")

And @Marketto, I think she has a warmth to her face that Heidi does not have. Great cheekbones, a gentle loveliness. She seems extremely photogenic.

@Thunderfinger, can you give us a brief translation of the article? Just basic info .... if you have a moment to do so.

Berenice was shorter than him, as well.

Very good news, and she fits the bill of the Bond girl in the Craig era as an unknown veteran actress. The only thing that could maybe go against her is her age. Not that I am against a 38 years old Bond girl, in fact quite the contrary, but for they might want younger if they are ageist.

And I think it is getting more and more plausible that Scandinavia will be featured.

    http://www.dagbladet.no/2014/05/12/kultur/film/james_bond/synnove_macody_lund/33237597/
In this second article she tells (briefly) how great it was to visit Pinewood Studios, with all Bond props on display, and the urge to stop taking photos inside Pinewood while visiting.

Fun fact: She is known for being a film enthusiast, and also work as a film critic here in Norway.

    You're welcome! :-)

I thought the same thing, and my mind wanted to recall Severine being leagues taller than Bond, but in reality, she's surprisingly shorter than Craig is!

    She can act? Check
She looks amazingly great whatever her age is now? Check
Would she pair well with Craig? Check (well I am guessing, but I think so).

In no way does she seem too old for the role. I am assuming this is not a Bibi Dahl type role, even if a smaller role.

Thanks, @Torgeirtrap! That sounds interesting indeed.

She's either 37 or 38, not sure what month she was born. She looks fantastic for her age.

I think is states 38 in one of the articles above (not that I can read Norwegian ...).

That actually sounds like a good age, I think, for a Bond girl for Craig. I mean just look at her, for Pete's sake. And she may have brains apparently, too. I say, sign her up! Hope she and Craig have some chemistry (that is rather crucial, isn't it).

The Dagbladet article says that the producers loved Headhunters(they considered the director Morten Tyldum as well), and are looking for an actress with a typical Scandinavian look. Synnøve Macody Lund fits the bill perfectly. The site "the Wrap" has also stated that the script contains a Scandinavian
    [spoiler
]with a problematic past who has a
    brief relationship with Bond.
