Keeping my fingers crossed for Scandinavia, although again pricing may be an issue. Can we safely bet that at least one Bond girl will be from Scandinavia?

Also, All of Logan and Mendes' current projects have had their premieres, so we likely wont be having too many more interview opportunities for them to drop hints. The producers also have what appears to be nothing lined up to open opportunities for them to comment. It seems every one from here on is completely focused on Bond 24, which I'd argue is only a good thing.
Hm, I'm afraid the Last Ship is far from the premiere yet. It will have a pre-Broadway run that will start in Chicago in two weeks, Logan could well still be in the USA to help with the last repeats etc. As for Broadway, that's for in a few months.
As a matter of fact, Logan is announced to participate to a writers' event in Chicago for the 7th and 8th of June.

So I'm highly skeptical he's currently working with Mendes on the script of Bond24.

@Ludovico, one Scandinavian Bond girl seems like a safe bet, and at least a glimpse of some Scandinavian location. At this point, I would be disappointed if that is not the case.

What if you're the Bond girl and you've been hiding it from us this whole time?

I'd be very disappointed if no Bond girl is Scandinavian for Bond 24. I still think a Scandinavian location may be a long shot, so will not be disappointed if this is not the case, but if it IS the case... Then I am very, very happy.

I'm with you. I'd love to see Dan's Bond in a snowy environment. It'd be a nice change of pace from the past warm locations he has visited like Miami and Bolivia.

But I think, people would like a more sunny, colourful feeling like CR for the next after SF being rather literally dark.

I think many fans are really wanting Bond in snow, a gorgeous snowy landscape. it doesn't have to be dark or gloomy. I really don't want an island or tropical clime except for a shorter visit. No matter where Bond goes in 24, I hope a decent chunk of time is in snow somewhere.

Well, according to <a href="http://www.mi6community.com/index.php?p=/discussion/4746/top-5-elements-bond-24-must-have-to-tackle-every-bit-of-criticism-that-surrounded-skyfall/p1">this</a>; thread, many of us here are anticipating a snow sequence- myself included. And sure, some of the previous ones didn't work as well as others (TWINE), but I don't consider any of them as being drab.

In Japan there are locations where one can see the sea while skiing alpine slopes. I could imagine some gorgeous background landscapes like that, with Craig skiing through dashing sunshine. Perhaps something like that could also be done in a Skandinavian fjord, since I guess they won´t go to Japan immediately after Macao.

I do like a contrast in look between movies myself. Scandinavia during summertime is literally sunny until past midnight. And beautiful too. Many people here want to see snow, I merely want to see Scandinavia, no matter the time of year. My only reservation is the money.

But there are plenty of saunas in Sweden (and in Norway?). I am all for a sauna scene, either a seduction scene or an action scene.

It happened once, nearly twenty years ago. And while I loved the scene something could be done in the same setting, but very differently.

The only snow we've seen during Craig's time as Bond was the ending of QoS, correct? I would love a full snowy landscape to make it into B24, with perhaps a skiing sequence done. It's been a while since we've had one of those.

@Creasy Yep, it was just QOS- and to think Broz had snow in all his films!

Both OHMSS and FYEO had two snow action sequences each- something I wouldn't mind seeing again. However, there's more to snow than skiing- I've been championing a snowcat chase, but with Bond commandeering one unlike in TLD where it's the enemy behind the wheel. A nighttime chase would be awesome.

    And don't forget the water!

The three Craigs had water... but no snorkel!

Since the villain who wants to destroy the world/agent gone rouge and out for revenge/terrorist threat has now gone old, what could the script be based on? If looking at global events, I'm thinking Snowden here. Or? Anyone?

The villain who wants to destroy the world has not been done that often, it is one of the misconceptions about Bond movies. In truth, it has been done three times: YOLT, TSWLM and MR. But yes, it has gone old, although more because it is too implausible.

Snowden's story would be too reminiscent of SF I think. Something large scale, but "simpler". Something like biological warfare? It has been done, but not that often, not in the franchise anyway. What was the last time? OHMSS.

" I can do more damage on my laptop in my pyjamas than you can do in a year in the field."

I think B24 will somehow still show Bond proving Q wrong. I guess that rules out a cyber attack, unless they want to make Q the protagonist ;-)

Mendes will probably try to show why agents "living in the shadow" are still relevant. That's my guess. Actually it goes without saying.

They should be credited for their observation skills though. I mean, who would have thought they'd try and make Bond 24 succesfull? Newsflash just there...
