So in my opinion it will be:
Mexico - PTS
Austria - **** goes down
London - M briefing, Q, Moneypenny
Austria again - Bond investigates
Italy - Bond follows/tracks/spy things
Morocco - Finale
Would make sense geographically, from South America, then south from Europe finishing off in Africa.
Alternative scenario:
Mexico - PTS
Morocco - Post-titles similar to Casino royale in Mada., big plan is about to unfold, meeting
Austria - **** goes down.
London - Bond is seen again after not being seen since the PTS
Italy
Austria - Finale

Just kidding :P. I wonder where the press conference will be held. Pinewood studios, or perhaps the Corinthia hotel again?
I thought I read that the plane sequence went something like this:
Bond is in Morocco tailing one of the villains. He learns that the villain has chartered a private jet. So Bond infiltrates the plane, posing as one of the wait-staff. Bond then engineers the plane crash into Austria.
Don't know if that is the case, but I read it either here, or CBN or Alt.Fan. Jamesbond. Can't remember. Someone claimed it to be the rumor they heard. But if true, it would seem that Morocco is in the early part of the film
Where would someone even get information like that? I call bull.
Guilty as charged. I was having a self-indulgent laugh with that one.
I read this somewhere right at the time when we first got the reports from Austria of the production building the house that the plane is supposedly going to crash into. Might have even been in one of the translations of one of the Austrian news reports.
Where does any rumor come from? Someone on AJB this morning claims that he has a source -- he is saying that the PTS is in Mexico and the villain is a drug baron on the run from the CIA, hiding in Mexico. Also states that Jeffrey Wright is returning as Felix.
Who knows if any of it is true? Rumors are rumors...
Thoughts?
I feel positive Wright will return as Felix in either one or both of Craig's remaining films. And who knows, maybe they'll pull a David Hedison and bring him back for the next Bond's tenure as well.
Drug? Again? It has only been used in FYEO, LALD, LTK, DMC and what else?
Drug smuggling has to be the laziest plot thread ever.
Solo and The Living Daylights.
Smuggling in general. Gold smuggling in Goldfinger, diamond smuggling in Diamonds Are Forever and Die Another Day, jewel smuggling in Octopussy. Submarine smuggling in The World is Not Enough. ;)
Funny, nobody talks about Christoph Waltz anymore. Is it only me or doesn't his rumoured casting gives more weight to the return of Blofeld?
In any case, I would be far happier to see him as a villain than Ejiofor, or even, if I must be honest, than Idris Elba (even though I know Elba more as an actor). I am wondering however how Waltz could now be the villain (if indeed he is), a White German actor who is nearly 60, while a young Black man was considered in the past.
It's simple: Waltz did not get the part Ejiofor was considered for.
Maybe, but I don't see him as a Bond ally. A little too high profile, something he does share with Javier Bardem and has more than Ejiofor.
Maybe have him as Blofeld or a Blofeld-like character and Idris Elba/Ejiofor as a Largo-like character? Pure speculation of course, but there you go.
\:D/ :-S =D>
I liked him in Django Unchained, but have not seen him in anything else. My only issue with him being cast is that he's Austrian. A native German speaker as a villain is a bit too obvious. That said, yes, it does sound like Blofeld may be reintroduced the way M and Moneypenny were in SF.
Or maybe it is wishful thinking from my part. That said, the quote about friend or foe does sound like the novel's TB's Blofeld.
I hope they don't go down the 'Star Trek Into Darkness' route as the grand reveal that John Harrison is Khan had little impact mainly because I had no fucking idea who Khan was. Had the pre-release marketing had the chance to sell to me that Khan is a big deal from Star Trek lore I'd likely have gone into the movie better informed. Instead the film itself has to wheel out Leonard Nimoy for an ill-advised cameo to tell the audience that this Khan geezer is bad news.
I hope they don't do this and instead take the Nolan/Joker approach and really build up the excitement that an iconic villain is indeed returning.
