It's only 4:45pm where I am now. So his article is usually released at around 6:30pm.

This already sells it for me :-). This could hint to a very slow introduction of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and Blofeld, like I said. Perhaps the actual villain will be revealed only in the end...and will not get caught after all. A "master plan" towards a climatic world threathening event in "Bond 25". And that's more stuff for a slow, nuanced re-introduction of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and Blofeld.

Here you see again the original John Logan-idea: Making a two-parter, two films, so we fans get very annoyed at the end of "Bond 24".....making us ANGRY of curiosity :-P.

Aaaah well, and at this stage I can be very wrong also :-P.

I do believe however, that Bond 24 and Bond 25 will not have a story arch. Isn't that why Sam Mendes agreed to come back?

Or indeed 'QUANTUM'. Who knows ;-). I am thrilled by these articles.

I do not think there will be a 2 film story arc. Carrying over a character introduced at the end of Bond 24 would not be the same as a 2 film story arc. I rather do not want a 2 film story arc. Anyway, it is all just up in the air. The press conference cannot come soon enough!

New Baz Bamigboye article. But very bad news.
Sam Mendes was fired, Daniel Craig sustains injury that may delay production.

    Just Kidding! :))

Can someone re-do the torture scene from "Casino Royale" with this young laddy called @Jake24 :-P?

The idea of Bond doing some investigating and detective work (done seriously) is something I've wanted to see for a very long time. It adds a layer to the mystery and suspense thriller elements that the Bond movies should be wearing on their sleeve.

Here you see again the original John Logan-idea: Making a two-parter, two films, so we fans get very annoyed at the end of "Bond 24".....making us ANGRY of curiosity :-P.

This is what Sam Mendes said about Bond 24 back in April: "...I started to get interested in it again when they agreed to wait a little longer [...] and not go with two movies but with one, which I felt very strongly about..."

    Source: http://tinyurl.com/ko5vr5a starting at 17:55

It has already been discussed to death that they scapped the initial plan to make Bond 24 & 25 a two part story, so it doesn't make much sense for you to bring that up again as if there is any chance Bond 24 will be the first part of a two parter. If anything, Mendes referred to Bond 24 as the second part of the story started in Skyfall (at least thematically).

Mine too. I hope Craig's last film closes the lid on Quantum and ends with him finishing off Mr. White. Finally avenging Vesper.

  • Though it's been all but confirmed, Hoyte Van Hoytema has now put an end to any speculation in a recent interview about whether Bond 24 will be shot on film or digital:

Also Baz has stated there will be no news from him this week:

Well the ongoing debate of people disputing if Bond 24 will be filmed in digital or on film has been answered by the man lensing the film, hence the case on the matter of how this movie will be filmed is closed.

Thanks to @chipsticks - in case you missed it on the Bond girl rumour thread, we can rule out Penelope Cruz as she has now signed on for Zoolander 2.

Wow they really are keeping the title and any other castings secret this time round.

So there are rumours that Waltz is not the villain ? :/

He would make an AMAZING villain..I hope he is not an ally but the villain

Why? I think he would make an amazing ally as well! Villains do not hold the monopoly of great characters. Is Kronsteen more fascinating than Darko Kerim Bey, for example?
    For me personally Villains >Allies
Maybe not Kronsteen but I "care" so to speak more about characters like Dr.No or Zorin rather than Kerim Bey.

Also maybe it's because I really think that Waltz would be terrific villain, and he can become the next Goldfinger (or the first...whatever his name will be)
