BUT, very good news. Upcoming weekend it is expected to snow heavily in Obertilliach. Starting upcoming Friday. Temperatures are going to drop as well. So I think it's better to wait a bit until Friday to start/prepare the cameras.

Is Olivier Schneider simply joining to choreograph specific fights?
Okay, read his own website (thanks for the English option) and he is simply listed as coordinator for all fights. I think he is working with Gary Powell. Hmmm.
By the way, I want great fights but I don't want this to turn into what would look like a lot of (extended) true martial arts fights or sci fi/fantasy fights. I don't want it to look too similar to other current action films. I want great Bond film fights.

People accuse me at times for being a....."queen". Well, I'm not going to do such thing :-).
But I do think you are overreacting. IF something has been done perfectly, then it were the fist fights from the Daniel Craig era of Bond films (staircase fight in "CR", fight with Mitchell in "QOS", fight with Patrice in the skycraper in "SF". Latter one is one of my favourites.....grittyness in the darkness like with "FRWL").
Moreover, I think Olivier Schneider mainly works with WWF wrestlers and other bodybuilders. To me it looks he will be helping Dave Bautista.
So, is there usually a separate fight coordinator for Bond films? I probably just never realized that.

It's the only thing I heard -accidentally, because then people didn't hear of spoiler tags- from the SonyLeaks: That Barbara Broccoli fought very hard to get a real villa in the film instead of doing a fake set somewhere in England.
By the way, just read the article. This is spoiler-heavy. But by jolly. This WILL be one hell of a car chase, Ronin-style. Judging the entire route, this car chase should at least last for like 7 minutes in the entire film. Finally a worthy follow-up of chases like those in "Bullet" and "Ronin"??
Will my wishes be heard? Something like this, but then in Rome :-P?
Damn, I'm turning into a little geeky kid again. That route, that entire car chase plan. This WILL be one of the most exciting car chases ever in Bond history. No, it will be :-P. I'm already envisioning the entire sequence looking at the Rome map.
Always said it! No matter how great Bond's cars are, the car chases were never a real strong-suit for me. Yes, completely entertaining, but usually lacking any realism....any real driving skills from Mr James Bond 007 himself. This will change now for "SPECTRE". I can feel it.

You do realise that stunts aren't limited to fight scenes? Powell isn't going anywhere and Schneider has been involved with SPECTRE for months. Furthermore his ability to choreograph fights is precisely the sort if fisticuffs Bond needs. He's not going to kungfu this...just watch films like Taken, safe house, fast 6, Unknown...the man will give us an amplification and more visceral version of the fights we saw in CR and QoS. Before I even knew who Schneider was I remember criticising the fights in SF and stating that Paul Walker's prison fight in fast 6 was superior to what we got in SF and looks and behold, that prison fight and every other fight in fast 6 was choreographed and staged by Schneider. For all intents and purposes SPECTRE should gave tge vest fight scenes in the entire series.
Spectre needs to show Bond can leave the other action franchise in the dust, I know Bond isn't just about action but everyone looks forward to the set pieces and I think this time the Craig era needs to give us something as iconic as Madagascar once again.
Secondly, it does look gorgeous! Beautiful villa indeed. :)
1000% agreed :-). "SPECTRE" needs to set a standard in car chases that makes competing franchises like "Fast and Furious", "Mission: Impossible", "U.N.C.L.E." And "Kingsman" tremble. Let them be "afraid" of 007 ;-).
I wasn't saying "trying to outdo Fast & Furious". Certainly NOT the style of the action. Bond's action is more refined. What I meant to say is, that Bond could/can set a standard in car chases that oozes "Bond" and that has the refinement of classic car chases from "The French Connection", "Bullet" and "Ronin". A car chase that makes other franchises, like "Fast and Furious" say: "Hmmm, we always did it our gritty way, but next time we should do it this Bond way."
By the way, I think it would be a great thing if Bond has a passenger in his Aston Martin DB10. Most likely Lucia Sciarra. Would be great to see/hear some lively verbal interaction between those two, so it adds to the realism.
Yes, this is perfectly normal filmmaking. Gary Powell is Stunt Co-ordinator, but it is very normal for a specialist to focus on certain stunt or action scenes.
Yes, I know stunts encompass a lot of things, not just fight scenes. I just had a slight panic. Over now. :D
I can assure you fast and furious will never take their car action cues from Bond simply because that series is way OTT in that aspect. Being OTT is what that series thrives on and it works for them. I always loved the opening car chase of QoS and it would have been much better had it been 90 seconds longer and if it wasn't so disastrously edited.

Is this really spoiler free?? I have been taking a good eye on that Range Rover Sport (2015 model), as it was stored there, near the Ice Q restaurant, without tires.
I have a feeling that, judging the new "action trim" of the above image, the Range Rover Sport on a slide, that this car could have a major role in a snowy action sequence. Could this Range Rover Sport perhaps be "skiing" down the Sölden slopes? It is located almost directly next to the slopes.
Or maybe, because it's towed in the snow, it will be used in the snow? Also, you tend to forget that in an earlier picture, the Range Rover Sport was on a normal concrete road, still, without tires. Moreover, the other Range Rover Defender's do have tires.
