    Here's @slyfox video.

In the video I wonder why the DB10 has to suddenly drive up on the wall section. Maybe Bond is avoiding someone walking along the river. Maybe the couple from the tube station in SF (on a romantic Rome weekend break) are having an evening walk along the river and he has to swerve to avoid them! ;-)

"Looks like he's in a rush to get home"

Perhaps the old couple returnsss :-D! I always wanted that to happen really. Would be a wunderful nod. A bit like the wine drinking guy from TSWLM, MR & FYEO ;-).

Exactly! They could even be drinking a bottle of chianti!

    Two HOT NEWS from today.

    - Brazilian title for SPECTRE officially confirmed as: "007 Contra SPECTRE"

    - A very reliable source has just informed me that THE FIRST SPECTRE TRAILER WILL BE RELEASED WORLDWIDE ON MARCH 28th.

I hope your source is correct as I want to see a Spectre trailer.

I thought people hated that as one of the 'gags' that ruined Moore's tenure? (I don't feel that way, but many Moore haters have said as much)

Of all the things I'd like to see again in Bond, this is definitely NOT one of them

Great photo @Zekidk. Does this mean we will see Craig on set in the Aston today, as it looks like they will be doing close ups of him in the car possibly today

Here's another photo I just found:

Will you be going on the set today ?

Somehow I don't like these cars. They remind me of the Jag and the Aston in DAD. Hopefully they fit into the general tone and style of SPECTRE.

That harness is for the stunt driver to sit in to drive the car, whilst filming the actor in the front seat.

But......what I saw......this will be a frikkin, long and big car chase. Mostly focused on real driving skills. I estimate this car chase will last at least 7 mins. Could be not only a great Bond car chase, but also one of the best cinematic car chases in history. Together with those of "Bullitt", "The French Connection" and "Ronin". By jolly guys....this is marvellous.

I really hope that Mendes and the team are going to deliver Bond's first real amazing car chase, yes we've had many before but they've never been up there with the best of them.

This looks like it has the potential to and using Rome as it's canvas is an incredibly tantalising prospect.

The PTS was obviously the big set piece of SF not that I minded nothing else quite being that epic for the rest of the film I feel SPECTRE needs to go all out and show the young pretenders that Bond is still King, the series that changed the action adventure genre for good back 1962.

Although Raiders for me still remains the bench mark of the genre, Spielberg's genius, the pacing, the story and the set pieces have never been matched. If SPECTRE can aspire to that we might have ourselves one of the best of the series.

    4th: Car (jump) down
    9th: Wall ride
    11th: Aston into river

Sweet stuff. Thanks all. This film seems to offer a lot for car nuts. Bond still dressed impeccably.

Great pics! You can spot Mendes, Gary Powell, Hoyte van Hoytema and of course DC.
Love Bond's suit and the car. This is shaping up to be one helluva classy Bondfilm.
  • I think the pictures of the Aston Martin being shot today is not for the car chase, isn't that sequence meant to be a night? This could just Bond's arrival in Rome.

Yes, you are problably right; the actual carchase will be done by second unit, I guess.
Plus, in the video the car isn't really speeding or chasing, just driving through Rome.
