    I think there are only a couple of OO7 movies in which helicopters have not been used.
    At a guess, I think it was DN and TMWTGG
    It's a pretty common conveyance in 007 world.

    Similar scenario to Zao's escape in DAD is my guess. Either a villain or possibly an official being evacuated from the area. Thinking escape is more exciting than an arrival, particularly for a PTS, but may be well off.

    I always say that every action sequence is made better with a helicopter, so I'm not complaining about this at all :)

    El próximo 19 de marzo a partir de las 00:00 horas se cerrarán las calles de Donceles, entre Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas y Allende; Filomeno Mata, entre 5 de Mayo y Tacuba; Héroes del 57, entre Belisario Domínguez y Donceles, y el Callejón Condesa, entre 5 de Mayo y Tacuba, mismas que serán reabiertas al tránsito a partir del primer minuto del 20 de marzo.


    Los días 20, 21 y 24 de marzo se restringirá la circulación en las calles de Donceles, entre Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas y Allende; Tacuba, entre Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas y República de Chile; Filomeno Mata, entre 5 de Mayo y Tacuba; Héroes del 57, entre Belisario Domínguez y Donceles, y Callejón Condesa, entre 5 de Mayo y Tacuba.

    Entre el 25 de marzo y el 1º de abril, se cerrará el acceso al Zócalo para los vehículos sobre 5 de Mayo, Avenida 20 de Noviembre, desde República de El Salvador, y Avenida Pino Suárez, entre Circuito Plaza de la Constitución y Venustiano Carranza.

    resguardará durante los días que se lleve a cabo el rodaje los 90 macetones ubicados sobre Avenida 20 de Noviembre, entre la calle de Uruguay y Circuito Plaza de la Constitución. Además, fueron retirados los bolardos ubicados en la calle 16 de Septiembre, entre las calles 5 de Febrero y Palma.



    En ese mismo lapso, no se colocará el mobiliario del proyecto piloto #micalle sobre Avenida 20 de Noviembre, desde Avenida Izazaga hasta Circuito Plaza de la Constitución.

    Los domingos 22 y 29 de marzo, las calles que sean utilizadas para la filmación quedarán abiertas a la circulación vehicular y los visitantes del Centro Histórico podrán disfrutar del proyecto #miplaza, que contempla la colocación de mesas y sillas sobre Avenida 20 de Noviembre, entre Venustiano Carranza y Circuito Plaza de la Constitución, de manera normal.

    A las 7 de la mañana comenzó el ensayo de una de las escenas de "Spectre", la nueva película del agente 007 y los escenarios para su filmación ya fueron colocados

    Para ello el perímetro de la explanada del Zócalo capitalino fue cerrada al tránsito vehicular y peatonal y al menos 10 calaveras gigantes forman parte del set, para la grabación de la película “Espectro”

    Como parte de la secuencia que ensaya la producción de "Spectre", un helicóptero hará giros sobre la plancha del Zócalo

    En el ensayo, la nave sin placas visibles da 10 giros mientras recorre el tramo ubicado frente a la sede del Gobierno del DF hacia el Palacio Nacional, para luego recuperar estabilidad y sobrevolar a un costado de la Catedral

    So I see pictures of military, will they be used in filming? If so I think this will be the first time bond faces a true military force since casino Royale, I like it

    The second part of Don Quijote de la Mancha was published in 1615. Perhaps it is just coincidence, but it would be great this reference in a Bond film to celebrate the anniversary.

    I'm an Spanish Literature teacher so I'm really partial, of course, but I've read various articles that are capable to link Bond with Don Quijote in very really interesting ways...

    The images are stunning, the models are simply amazing, soooo cannot wait to see what they do come the film release?

    Was curious about whether the PTS takes place at night or in the day? I am assuming night time because of the stunning photo's on this thread? But then I thought they are already doing a night time chase in Rome, so I thought I would ask the question?

    Yeah this looks visually extremely inventive so far. Hyper stylised car chase at night, beautiful Austria, and wierd sinister Mexican floats.

    Are they adding other cars in post to the car chase. All shots I saw were deserted bar the am and Ferrari.

    In a way I hope he doesn't, only because we had skull imagery in Skyfall's titles, and Bond's title's sequences shouldn't be repetitive.

    Already early in the morning at 6:00 the production team and director Sam Mendes, came to the Zocalo to mark the route of a helicopter on Avenida 20 de Noviembre and around.

    An hour later, came the private helicopter which is part of the scene; the route of the helicopter begins on Avenida 20 de Noviembre and flies over the city center, through National Palace and the Old City Hall.

    Thirty minutes later, the helicopter was positioned on the the Zocalo, next to the Cathedral, where it remained until it took off again to test how the city looks like from the air.

    The helicopter scene rehearsal was made this morning, but next week Sam Mendes and the crew will film a scene in which Bond chases the villain of the story in the City of Mexico.

    Some roads will be closed on 19 March, and they will reopen to traffic on Friday:
