What else has the fight choreographer for this film worked on? I don't even recall who it is.

    Taken

  • This along with all the other action sequences from Spectre make me desperate for a (good) video game adaptation.

Also, the cinematography of the shot goes to show you how much thought goes into these films from its director and dp. Hinx's vest, Madeleine's dress, the train's walls and the golden hue of the boxes' wood, all coordinate to give the shot a metallic feel, pointing to the organisational mind of Mendes and co.- something already proven in SF

Bond looks like dead meat. When I was a bouncer, I once met an amphetamine freak who treated me the same way. Had to get some stitches in my forehead that night.

I was going to say, the art direction is good in that shot.

That OP shot isn't on the train. You might want to switch out to complete the set.

Schneider's work on 'Taken' and 'Safe House' (strictly talking about the action scenes and how they're set up) has me excited for what we'll receive in SP.

even more so, his work on FF6, if I may add to your excitement

@nikos78, those were done pretty well, also, but in terms of how they were shot (the frenetic action and whatnot), 'Taken' and 'Safe House' were great.

when will they announce the title song singer and when will they release the title song? October?
P.S. is Mr. Hinx going to be the first well dressed henchman? Odd job is the closest thing I guess.

We have no idea. I can tell you it'll be here when it gets here, though! ;)

Do remember this is just a still photograph taken on set, not an actual shot from the film by Hoyte van Hoytema.

Hence why I said Art Direction and not Cinematography.

Anyone got this version of EW? It seems there's more photos inside.

Not sure we can get EW on the UK, isn't it a U.S. publication?

Oh wow, I remember that fight at the end of Safe House between Ryan Reynolds and Joel Kinnaman, that was brutal and the best scene in the movie.

@dinovelvet, that's the exact type of brutality I want to see in any fist fights between Bond and Hinx in SP, so I hope he can deliver once again.

The brutality in the SAFE HOUSE fight scene remembers me the CR fight with Bond and Obano. Blood and sweat everywhere in the frame.

@marketto007, the 'Safe House' fight scene also uses some great angles, like when one tackles the other and they fly out the window.

Definately @Creasy47. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Casino, and the fight scenes, as well as this one you mentioned with Ryan Reynolds. ;)

If you haven't read the EW article, beware of potential spoilers. This is something Mendes had to say:
"Bond has been rebooted at the end of the movie. This is only the beginning of the story."

Also: "The bond creation myth never happened."

Take that how you will! I'm considering it spoilers for those speculating (what he said pertains to the future, not exact events of the film.)

I thought he was referring to skyfall, perhaps I misread?

@Ottofuse8, he may, my buddy told me those quotes from the magazine. I haven't seen it myself.

EDIT: He clarified that what he was referring to was SF. Apologies!

Mr Hinx to James: I told you not to serve the soup too hot, bloody hell.
James gasping: Do you expect me to return the tip?
Mr Hinx: No Mr Bond I expect you to die!!
