I would have to go with CR on this.
The artwork and the fight scenes are cleverly done and it set the film up perfectly.
• From Russia With Love remains my favourite.
I think The Living Daylights would have to be the worst.
• Daylights is not so bad, I think the A-HA track sounds a bit dated from a 2011 standpoint, same as with Duran Duran before it, but the titles are genuinely well done and creative and there are plenty worse than what came before it and thereafter

The World Is Not Enough

I recently rewatched this film again, and I love the work that Kleinman did.. the stark white background, with black dripping oil, as Bond falls through the frame... and of course the lovely ladies in the oil - the coloring in these shots is simply beautiful...

I certainly hope Daniel is brought back for Skyfall... i do like what MK12 did with the QOS titles, but nobody touches Kleinman's work since Goldeneye - he was the perfect man to take over for Binder..

other opening title favs of mine:

From Russia With Love
Live And Let Die
The Spy Who Loved Me
Octopussy
A View To A Kill
Goldeneye
Die Another Day
Casino Royale
Quantum Of Solace

• Love Casino Royale's and Thunderball's the most. The CR one just screamed "Bond is back and better than ever!" and Thunderball is just a classic with the water and women. Gives me chills
Have to agree there, also FRWL gets me.

• I actually have to say DAD. It was the first Bond movie I saw in theaters and I remember loving the opening.
My other favorites are OHMSS, CR, and LALD.

Dr. No, when it all started.

I'm gonna switch mine up to Goldeneye as my top.

Always have my eyes glued, mainly because of the amount of poorly hidden women's attractions. But also very figurative and interesting to watch. Yea, definitely the best imo.

Dr no ,Thunderball and Casino royale the best.
Goldfinger the worst.
• Always loved the opening titles of Quantum of Solace. Very symbolic. But my vote goes to From Russia with love, classic.

"Die Another Day"... I know many of you hate this movie, personally I don't, but this is about the opening title sequence. I loved seeing Bond getting his butt kicked (different for an opening Bond title) and the CGI fire and ice women.

The best part about these opening titles is that they're actually in-story, unlike the other 21 films that are all "Oh, stop the story for the credits!". The closest to this is GoldenEye 007/GoldenEye 007: Reloaded (I'm waiting for an even further enhanced version for the eighth gen consoles called GoldenEye 007: Revolutions).

I usually just skip the title sequence, but some good ones that stick out to me are GoldenEye, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Live and Let Die, and A View to a Kill. Probably the only title sequences I've actually watched all the way through.

What is that supposed to mean ?

It just.. interesting seeing somebody that enjoy those titles... the editing is.. well poor, and the music isn't so hot. The best part is the spin-wheel full of women, that was a cool element. And I like the idea behind the ladies of the sand. Compared to CR, however, its, in my opinion, trash.
• I particularly enjoy Camille as a sand woman. I see in this a tribute to Jill Masterson, who was the gold woman, and Vesper, who was the water woman. There is a very strong symbolism with the water in both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, and I think that title sequence represents it finely. And I have no problem with the title song. I even prefer Another way to die to You know my name.

GE. Very action-packed, and the plane chase totally seals it, with a nail-biting escape to enter Tina Turner's theme. I love it.
• I heard and watched the Goldfinger opening again yesterday and thought it was quite well done, while admittedly never being a fan of Bassey's music, the title designs by Bob Brownjohn and having various set pieces from the movie and personnel involved projected on to the body was a nice touch. The first Bond vocals and the first proper title designs with it I feel (From Russia With Love just doesn't feel applicable), make this an early release of recognition.

Reading above I'm under the distinct impression there may be one or two who are getting the pre credits sequence and opening credit sequence mixed up with each other

I may have actually chosen that one, if I liked Tina Turner. I'm not a fan of the singer of Goldfinger, either.

No. It stems mainly from the fact that I hated the songs to Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker. It also doesn't help that I didn't care for those films much.

GoldenEye; smashing up the Soviet icons; Binder would have been proud.

Casino Royale; so retro, so classic and You Know My Name blaring in the background.

The Spy Who Loved Me; simply classic and like @DaltonCraig007, I love the image of Sir Rog pushing over with female Soviet troops over.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service; time going backward, clips from the previous movies and with the redoubtable theme from John Barry.

Die Another Day; the movie continues in the opening titles, and I particularly enjoy the images of fire and ice.

On consideration I'll go for

The Spy Who Loved Me
