That's a great photo but God it reminds me how much I despise that Matera suit

He's now starting to act a bit of Roger Moore's Simon Templar.

Maybe Benoit Blanc was the modern take?

Except...those loose fitting pant legs. I am not a fan of those.

I'm just wondering cause don't remember for KO1. If the movie is shown at ITFF and expected for a December release when should we have a trailer for that?

Nice... curious about the subscriber's cover. I've meant to cancel mine ages ago, but it seems like its really hard to do so in Canada, and it's only $7/month, so...

EDIT: Saw it in the article. Pretty cool but would have preferred a Craig image.

Also funny that Ana De Armas is featured in this issue as well for Blonde, the two are inseperable! I wonder if she'll make a cameo in Glass Onion.

Looks cracking. There's a shot of Craig breaking into a run in the dark that almost looks like it's from a Bond!

There's something so satisfying about Craig breaking into a run. I don't know what it is. He does it a few times in TGWTDT and I love it (not to mention the many instances of it during his time as Bond).

Am I the only one who thinks he looks like he's wearing a hairpiece?

I mean, this looks fantastic (love the shot of him fully clothed in the pool sipping a drink) and I can't wait to see it, but his hair is weird.

Yeah I get that. It's weird when there's certain shots in other films that just scream Bond.

One is in Knives Out, when Blanc and Marta are outside at night and the camera looks up to him, he's lit from behind and it looks like a shot from Skyfall, while the house is burning down.

Even though Daniel doesn't look like Bond throughout Knives Out, that moment was pure Bond

Ha! I know what you mean: he sort of hunkers down and gets his arms pumping before he takes off- it usually signifies that something exciting is about to happen!

I'm pretty sure I heard it will be in cinemas, yeah.
There is the very Knives Out-looking See How They Run released this weekend too, and I've heard it's good fun. I think I might go and see that.

For me, there was the moment, after he gets a flesh wound: he's whiny and being a a baby in the bathtub, as Rooney pours vodka on the wound. It was an ironic contrast to the self-assuredness in CR, when he comforts Vesper in the shower.

Anyone else see this? Further evidence to the contrary that DC is just horrible to work with...

FWIW, I present Daniel Craig's one degree of separation (or even less) with every Bond and Bond villain who came before him.

Sean Connery - Stellan Skarsgard (Hunt for Red October) - DC (TGWTDT)
Joseph Wiseman - Jane Alexander (The Betsy) - DC (Dream House)
Robert Shaw - Paul Newman (The Sting) - DC (Road to Perdition)
Gert Frobe and Adolfo Celi - Richard Attenborough (Ten Little Indians) - DC (Elizabeth)
Donald Pleasence - Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) - DC (Knives Out)

George Lazenby - Sam Elliott (Gettysburg) - DC (The Golden Compass)
Telly Savalas - Karen Black (Capricorn One) - DC (The Hunger)

Roger Moore - John Gielgud (Gold) - DC (The Power of One)
Yaphet Kotto - Stephen Dillane (Two If By Sea) - DC (Love and Rage)
Christopher Lee - DC (The Golden Compass)
Curd Jergens - Steven Berkhoff (Nicholas and Alexandra) - DC (TGWTDT)
    Michael Lonsdale - DC (Munich)
Julian Glover - Harrison Ford (The Empire Strikes Back ) - DC (Cowboys and Aliens)
Louis Jourdan - Joss Ackland (Silver Bears) - DC (A Connecticut Kid in King Arthur's Court)
Christopher Walken - Claire Forlani (Basquiat) - DC (Flashbacks of a Fool)

Timothy Dalton - Janet McTeer (Hawks) - DC (Saint-Ex)
Jeroen Krabbe - Adrien Brody (King of the Hill) - DC (The Jacket)
Robert Davi - Chris Evans (The Iceman) - DC (Knives Out)

Pierce Brosnan - Mark Margolis (The Thomas Crown Affair) - DC (Defiance)
Sean Bean - DC (Sharpe/Sharpe's Eagle)
Jonathan Pryce - Dexter Fletcher (The Rachel Papers) - DC (Layer Cake)
Robert Carlyle - Kelly Macdonald (Trainspotting) - DC (Some Voices)
Toby Stephens - Gwyneth Paltrow (Possession) - DC (Sylvia)

Recently caught up with two Craig films, Flashbacks Of A Fool and Enduring Love

Both really good interesting films. I preferred Flashbacks even though Daniel only really bookends the film. A good performance from the lad playing Craig's younger self. Also a good early performance from Felicity Jones. The film uses the Roxy Music track, 'If there is something' in a way that's integral to the film.

Both films were made either side of CR.

I saw both shortly after the release of CR, I believe, and have fond memories of both. I recall Rhys Ifans being fantastic in Enduring Love while Flashbacks of a Fool had a really tragic love story anchoring the whole thing.

Plus, Flashbacks of a Fool has Dan making a classic Craig response when Keeley Hawes asks him (twice) if he's wearing make-up! :))

Felicity Jones would be a great cast member for a future Bond movie. M, May or Charmian Bond, perhaps?
