In fact I have heard that one before, a long time ago (I think around the time Millenium was being shot). It's a fun tidbit.

I'm not sure I really get it. Are these glasses there for funny purposes?I just can't believe he would wear something like this seriously. Looks simply terrible!

    * Glasses shown before being outfitted with glare-eliminating capabilities. However, the hair looks great, I reckon. Longer than SF, shorter than QOS, but has that same 'comb to the side' look on top from QOS, with a slight comma falling down, ala Fleming's Bond (getting a bit enthusiastic now). I hope he retains this, or a similar look for the film. Reactivate the hair thread!

Funny how the hair thing is always brought up. I don't think we should be worried. He will have his usual Bond hair. None of the other actor changed their Bond character look.

Does he need glasses? If so, I never knew

I've never understood the hair thing either. There are surely more important things to focus on, such as whether the new film will have a good story.

He's looking more like George Smiley.

Craig's Bond has never had 'usual Bond hair'. It has been styled differently for each of his three films, and will probably look different again for the next film. That's why there's so much discussion about it in comparison to the other Bond's hairstyles.

It's not like he's going to go all Kanye West is it? What Pajan means is that give or take half an inch here or there and a bit of Brylcreem DC will look like DC. The 'hair' is not revelatory, all the Bond's have had varying styles - from Connery's toupees through the ages to Brosnan's David Ginola moment in GE.

When I comment on Bond's hair, it's usually half tongue-in-cheek, kind of poking fun at the amount of hits the hair thread gets (as my first post above hints at), but at the same time, I, and many others here do have a preference- and for me, I think the above pics nailed it. Some members here act like it's weird to be talking about Bond's hair, but it's no different to discussing what suits he wears and how they're tailored etc. Of course it's a more trivial aspect, but it's not unimportant enough to not be discussing at all.

The hair is definitely a fresh cut as it looks freshly cut and looks different to how he had it in the pics he was taking in Morocco a few days ago.

If you gave him a moustache he'd look like Himmler.

Of course not. For me, I find it funny when I see members who appear fixated, as if it's an absolute deal breaker. I think it's maybe because the 'blonde hair' issue was such a cornerstone of the DCINB movement, anyone getting agitated by his hair reminds me of those fools. For the record I think he looks pretty good in SF at the Casino (if we're picking favourite style).

For the purposes of 'speculation', would people be averse to DC wearing those specs as Bond, obviously incognito and not as part of his Bond attire? I just got a flash of Laz as Sir Hilary and suddenly imagined DC in similar get-up.

These glasses make him resemble Bruce Willis a lot. I hope he wears them for a laugh.

If Willis reads this you are in deep trouble.

I thought the shades he wore when 'disguised' as the chauffeur in SF looked ridiculous, so these could begin a new tradition of DC appearing in comically stupid eyewear at some point in the movie. It could become Mendes's own version of the Glen 'startled animal' motif.

OMG they make him look old!!! :-O For those of you who know of him? They make him look like Dennis Norden who used to present the outake show "It'll be alright on the night!"

Glasses are just okay, but I hope would be just brief. As for the hair, yes that's better. Skyfall's haircut was simply too short.

Yeah, but he looks great! He can play Bond at least as long as Roger Moore did :-).
The specs sit too low though, not good for his eyes.

Actually I think, the hair is the worst part of this whole terrible outfit.
